Dies ist eine Tour, die sich auf die Geschichte des Christentums in Jordanien konzentriert. Ihr Fahrer holt Sie um 8:00 Uhr vom Hotel ab und bringt Sie nach Madaba. Madaba ist bekannt für seine spektakulären byzantinischen und umayyadischen Mosaike und beherbergt die berühmte Mosaikkarte von Jerusalem und dem Heiligen Land aus dem 6. Jahrhundert. Mit zwei Millionen bunten Steinen aus der Region zeigt es Hügel und Täler, Dörfer und Städte bis zum Nildelta. Die Mosaikkarte von Madaba deckt den Boden der griechisch-orthodoxen St.-Georgs-Kirche ab, die sich nordwestlich des Stadtzentrums befindet. Die Kirche wurde 1896 n. Chr. Auf den Überresten einer viel früheren byzantinischen Kirche aus dem 6. Jahrhundert erbaut. Die Mosaikplatte, die die Karte umgibt, war ursprünglich etwa 15,6 x 6 m groß, 94 m 2, von denen nur etwa ein Viertel erhalten ist.
Dann geht es weiter zum Berg Nebo, auf dem Moses gestanden haben soll und auf das verheißene Land hinausgesehen haben soll. An einem klaren Tag kann man über das Tote Meer bis nach Jerusalem schauen.
Weiter auf dem Kings Hwy halten Sie am Aussichtspunkt WadiMujib. Bekannt als der Grand Canyon von Jordanien ist dies ein weitläufiges Tal und bietet eine großartige Aussicht.
Sie werden dann zum tiefsten Punkt der Erde gefahren. das tote Meer. Besuchen Sie eines der Day Resorts und erleben Sie das einzigartige Gefühl, im salzigen Wasser zu schwimmen. Entspannen Sie sich und genießen Sie die Einrichtungen des Resorts: Schwimmen, Schlammbad und ein Mittagsbuffet.

We thank the agency for adapting to our needs; we had little time and inconvenient schedules. However, they were always present. From the airport pickup, we felt safe. It is a very professional and punctual agency. We spent 2 days with them fulfilling the planned itinerary. Both the driver and interpreter were very friendly, attentive, caring, and kind. Thanks to them, we experienced a different version of the country than what we see on TV. It is a very safe country with good infrastructure. I recommend visiting Jornadia, and if it is with them, the experience will be much better.

I had a very nice short visit to Jordan everything very well organized by Jordan Horizon and my driver Mr. Fad who did a great job. After we left Amman we visited an old church, mount Nebo and the dead sea shore before arriving at my hotel in Petra, called Old Village. Very nice place with great views to Petra. The next morning the highlight of the trip: visit amazing Petra! A great experience with guide Mahmoud who explained everything about the history and astronomical background of the site.
