Das Ourika-Tal beginnt etwa 40 km südlich von Marrakesch in Richtung Atlasgebirge. Ourika ist eine typische Region des Hohen Atlas. Auf dem Tagesprogramm steht ein Besuch bei einer Berberfamilie, um den Alltag dieser indigenen marokkanischen Bevölkerung besser zu verstehen. Der Gastgeber wird die Minztee-Zeremonie durchführen, das nationale Heißgetränk, das mehrmals am Tag genossen wird und im Wesentlichen ein Ritual des Zusammenkommens von Familienmitgliedern, Freunden und Besuchern ist. Darüber hinaus profitieren Sie optional von einem wunderbaren 20-minütigen Kamelritt, bei dem Sie auf dem Weg ins Tal anhalten, um sich auszuruhen und die herrliche Aussicht zu fotografieren. Ein Besuch in einer Frauenkooperative ist ein Muss und die Kosten wert. Abschließend machen Sie Halt in einem kleinen Dorf, das typisch für die Region ist, und Sie haben die Wahl, den kleinen Souk des Dorfes auf eigene Faust zu erkunden oder sich von einem lokalen Führer begleiten zu lassen, um die Wasserfälle zu besichtigen. Ende des Tages gegen 15:00 Uhr. - 3:30 Uhr Nachmittags.

Das Ourika-Tal ist ein Tal des marokkanischen Hohen Atlas und liegt 30 km von Marrakesch entfernt. Es wird hauptsächlich von Menschen der Berbersprache und des Chleuh-Dialekts bewohnt. Trotz seiner Nähe zu Marrakesch gilt es als relativ gut erhaltenes Tal, sowohl in seiner Natur als auch in seinem traditionellen Bergleben.
Kurzer Stopp auf der Straße, um einen etwa 20-minütigen Kamelritt zu genießen (zusätzliche Kosten: 10,00 USD).
Besuch einer Genossenschaft zur Arganölproduktion, um das traditionelle Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Arganöl sowie die Derivate, die aus diesem Öl hergestellt werden können, kennenzulernen.
Das Ende der Reise findet auf der Höhe des Dorfes Setti Fatma statt, wo ein kostenloser Besuch des Dorfes möglich ist. Trekkinginteressierte können sich von einem lokalen Führer begleiten lassen (zusätzliche zusätzliche Gebühren sind vor Ort zu zahlen). Lassen Sie sich begleiten, um den Berg zu erklimmen und die Ourika-Wasserfälle zu entdecken. Machen Sie eine Pause mit einem Mittagessen in einem lokalen Restaurant am Fluss (Mittagessen auf Ihre Kosten).

Atlas mountains, Burber village, water falls, enjoyed the whole experience although it was a hot & sunny.
It was an amazing experience. I went with both of my parents. However I have given it 4 stars because we were picked up at 8 am and was taken to the city waited there until 10 am. Speaking to other travellers who joined us they said they were picked up at 9.30. This made me really angry because we waited there for good 3 hours. Other then it was an amazing experience the tour guide and the driver were really helpful. Very important: if u suffer with asthma or got no hiking experience or got leg problems - this tour is big on Mount hiking. I couldn't go further with my parents as they got really tired and dizzy from all the heights and climbing, baring in mind they are very active. We asked the tour guy to go without us and meet us back. Plus make sure u wear strong trainers, no slipers or anything. There were people who suffered alot with those. Hope this helps
Hello Manija, first of all, thank you for the time you have dedicated to leaving us your comment on this excursion, and as an explanation why you were picked up so early at 08:00 and not at 09:00, the reason is that the hotel where you lived is too far from the city center and you have been picked up on a private minivan to approach you to the starting point of yhe shared group; and this is the reason why we offer the same service in private to avoid such an incident, but which requires a large budget than that in a shared group.
We had a great time. Being outdoors people we really liked the hike up the mountain but I would warn people that it is not a mild hike up. You really should have a mid level of physical fitness b because the guides do move rather swiftly and they don't stop for breaks often. When we stop it was when we reach another camp or vendor selling items and food that's been resting out in the open air all day which makes it susceptible to the elements and insects. the waterfall is a lovely sight and the hike is very well worth it along with the beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. We also enjoyed the very informative cold pressed lessons on the organic making of organ oil with the botany explanation of the different plants at the cooperative. Our lunch site was downright fabulous. Along side a rushing river from the melting snow high a top the Atlas Mountains. While the food was ok at the La Belle Restaurant , the scenery made up for whatever was lacking.
Such a beautiful place! The Berber communities we visited were very nice and kind. The hiking was amazing, and the guide helped everyone climb up the mountains. Take your time and enjoy! Lunch on the river bank was so nice, with the snow-capped Atlas mountains facing us! Our guide and driver were both funny and helpful. A wonderful trip!
The village is very pretty and the walk up the mountain was great. However, the tour guide dragged us into a restaurant of his choice, and didn’t ask if we’re hungry in the first place, we thought it was part of the walk. So we had to leave and then the staff didn’t like it and start throwing some words. Just keep asking the tour guide the next steps so you don’t get into a similar situation. Oh and always agree the price before buying anything, as you could get ripped off.
A trip to the atlas mountains and the waterfalls has you in awe of the scenery and the colorful people. Have lunch in the river and try some of the local cuisine. A tough trip up the mountain to the waterfalls but well worth it. Were good shoes made for climbing over rocks. (you won't regret it). We had a great tour guide who assisted us all the way, he was also very knowledgeable.

Il was such an amazing day experience with Mr Rachid, he was very helpful, and kindly helpful during all the trip. Me and my husband were very pleased with our excursion, and all it’s details, starting by the car comfort, the places we visited, the stunning beauty of nature and mountains, the guide in Ourika who was very kind as well we enjoyed climbing to the valley, the kindness of the people there was exceptional. Thanks again for Mr Rachid we shall use the same agency for further trips.
