Die Tour zu den Schlössern Peles und Cantacuzino vereint Schönheit und Geschichte in einem. Peles ist Europas erstes elektrifiziertes Schloss mit allen modernen Einrichtungen wie Zentralheizung, fließendem Warm- und Kaltwasser, zentralem Staubsauger, elektrischem Aufzug und vielem mehr bereits seit Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Der Besuch des Schlosses Peles ist fast so, als befände man sich selbst in einem Kunstwerk. Bei jedem Schritt, den wir hineingehen, werden wir von jedem kleinen Detail fasziniert, den verschiedenen Schnitzereien, Gemälden und Möbelstücken, die mit bekannten Schlössern und Palästen auf der ganzen Welt konkurrieren. Das Schloss Cantacuzino war das Sommerhaus eines bekannten Politikers des 19. Jahrhunderts, Grigore Cantacuzino. Er war zu dieser Zeit einer der reichsten Männer Rumäniens und beschloss, dieses authentische Denkmal mit einem atemberaubenden Panorama auf das Bucegi-Gebirge zu errichten. Das im neorumänischen Baustil erbaute Schloss ist von Gassen und Wegen umgeben, die zu Springbrunnen, Wasserfällen und kleinen Höhlen führen.

Fahrt von Brasov nach Sinaia ca. 50 Minuten. Das weitläufige Schloss Peleș im bayerischen Stil wurde im 19. Jahrhundert inmitten eines üppigen Waldes erbaut, um das rumänische Königshaus zu beherbergen, und gehört zu den schönsten in Europa. Ein Führer führt Sie durch viele der makellosen, reich verzierten Räume, die immer noch mit üppigen Möbeln und Dekorationen geschmückt sind. Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das benachbarte Schloss Pelișor zu besichtigen, eine kleinere königliche Residenz, die mit Jugendstilpracht geschmückt ist.
Das Kloster Sinaia in Sinaia im Kreis Prahova, Rumänien, wurde 1695 von Prinz Mihail Cantacuzino gegründet und nach dem großen Katharinenkloster auf dem Berg Sinai in Ägypten benannt. Ab 2005 wird es von 13 christlich-orthodoxen Mönchen unter der Leitung von Hegumen Macarie Boguș bewohnt. Es ist Teil der Erzdiözese Bukarest. Die Alte Kirche wurde 1695 erbaut. 2006 wurde sie geschlossen, um ein Restaurierungsprojekt zu beginnen, um ihr ihre frühere Schönheit zurückzugeben. Die ursprüngliche Innenmalerei wurde von Pârvu Mutu fertiggestellt und 1795 erstmals restauriert. Die Alte Kirche ist seit 2016 wiedereröffnet. Mittagspause ca. 30-45 Minuten.
Fahrt nach Busteni ca. 20 Minuten. Cantacuzino Castle hat in der neuen "Wednesday"-Serie einen völlig neuen Vibe bekommen. Das Schloss Cantacuzino von Busteni wurde 1911 auf Wunsch von Prinz Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino (auch bekannt als „der Nabob“ – Premierminister von Rumänien zwischen 1899-1900 und 1904-1907) gebaut und eingeweiht. Das im neorumänischen Stil erbaute Schloss ist von einem Park umgeben, der Sie zu Grotten, Kaskaden und Brunnen führt. Die Empfangshalle beherbergt eine einzigartige Sammlung von Wappenkunde in Rumänien. Das Gebäude aus Backstein und Stein erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 3148 qm. Die Dekorationen verleihen dem Innenraum ein starkes romantisches Ambiente. Die Kamine aus weißem Stein mit farbigen Mosaiken runden die Atmosphäre eines herrschaftlichen Wohnhauses ab und steigern den Wert des Gebäudes. Das Schloss beherbergt eine einzigartige Sammlung, die das Wappen der Bojarenfamilien darstellt, die mit den Mitgliedern der Cantacuzino-Familie auf der walachischen Seite verwandt sind. Fahren Sie ca. 40 - 50 Minuten zurück nach Brasov.

- Wir möchten Sie darüber informieren, dass Schloss Peleș vor kurzem ein neues Ticketsystem eingeführt hat. Ab sofort müssen alle Tickets online im Vorverkauf zu einem bestimmten Eintrittsdatum gekauft werden.
- Seit dem 1. November hat die Firma, die das Ticketing auf der Burg Peleș verwaltet, beschlossen, dass auch die Guides das Eintrittsgeld bezahlen müssen. Nach dieser neuen Regel werden unsere Guides die Gäste nicht mehr im Schloss begleiten. Sie teilen die historischen Informationen und Erkenntnisse vor und nach Ihrem Besuch.

In your trip to Transylvania, you MUST go to Peles! Pictures cannot capture the opulence and beauty. This tour is the perfect way to see it. Peles is definitely the highlight of the day and you spend most of the time there, but it's really nice to have the other activities (Sinaia monastery and Cantacuzino) as supporting events. Our guide was absolutely perfect, super organized, incredibly knowledgeable, and ready to adapt to wherever our interests lie. He got us into the castle the moment the doors opened, and we could spend as long as we wanted there. It was a great balance to the day. The communication and logistics were excellent. This is a very smooth and easy tour where all you have to do is enjoy the sights! I highly highly recommend this tour!!!!

I had a great day on my tour to visit Peles and Cantacuzino castles. Being the slow season for tourism I was concerned they wouldn’t have the tour if no one else signed up, however they did and I was really appreciative because I really wanted to see the castles and I was leaving the next day. The company was very communicative and helpful with information. The tour guide Tiberiu was extremely nice and full of so much historical information. It was not only such a beautiful trip seeing the land and castles but made for a really valuable lesson in Romanian history. The castles are stunning and the land around them as well. We had a great tour to the two castles. Our guide Charlie picked us up on time at the hotel and guided us through the two castles. He gave us a lot of information, also on other topics that interested us. Charlie is a super nice and fun guide. We'll be back!

We visited on a Sunday and there were crowds at the castle sites so we were glad to have Dan as our guide. He was most helpful in explaining the complexities of the royal families and indeed the shifting complexities of the nationalities in the Balkans

The tour was completely insatiable, with a guide named Charlie having extensive knowledge of history and castle details. He was such a wonderful guide. It is possible to see the castle alone, but it is definitely better to have a guide. It was super efficient, especially if Kantakouzino Castle was to be incorporated. I couldn't stop wondering what the rooms were for in the castle and how they were decorated. I went to five or 60 rooms in Perez Castle alone and he explained everything in detail. There were large groups of people on tour, but the small number of people on this tour allowed us to ask almost one-on-one questions and they did us a favor. I asked him to arrange a visit to the Château de Périchore and he was happy to include it. The time I got back to Brașov was just right at 15:30, and when I said I wanted to go home, he took me straight to the Brașov ropeway boarding area. Everything is in English, so even Japanese people who understand English somewhat are definitely recommended

Amazing trip, could not have been luckier with Dan as our tour guide. He was very professional and made everything interesting and fun. Would highly recommend. If we would change anything we would maybe skip Cantacuzino castle, but everything else was very interesting to see.
