The Hop-On Hop-Off bus is perfect if you’re unfamiliar with a new city but want to make sure you hit all the major highlights. I opted for the 48-hour pass, which felt like a much better value than the single-day option. Day one rode the Red Route and hopped off at a few locations. Day two took the Blue Route out to Bondi Beach. Afterwards it was easy to transfer back to the Red Route and hop off at the different locations we didn't have time for the day before. Even though the buses were popular and carried a lot of people, we never had an issue finding a seat. To top it off, the drivers were excellent and very friendly. Highly recommend!
Great value. We did both the red and blue tours with stops.Also included the night tour which was great to see the city lights. Also the harbour cruise with a visit to Manly. Great way to start a holiday in Sydney

Informative tour. We did both the red line and blue line tours. Be sure to download the app so you can track where the buses are at. They supplied the ear buds for the narration and rain ponchos on the day it rained.

Originally it said it went to 5 pm, but for some reason they concluded at 4 pm and we had to walk back to our hotel. Otherwise it was a great way to spend a day seeing Sydney all over the sights. We really enjoyed it.

Serena met us for the Vivid Night tour and was very helpful and informative. Then the next morning she walked us from the ticket booth to Stop one to ensure we did not get lost. Unfortunately this experience was not to what we expected.Minimal Red a blue buses running on the day which lead to more than 35 minutes waiting for the buses. Also a 40-45 minute wait sitting on the bus at the interchange stops. We used hop on hop Off buses in different states of Australia and Europe this experience would be the most disappointing.

Our Bug Bus experience in Sydney was flawless. Serena greeted us at Stop 1, answered our questions, helped us rearrange a schedule fluke, and kept the busses rolling! We rode both routes twice. The drivers were great and safe maneuvering through traffic. The audio narration was informative, though it was sometimes a block off. We've not always had success with the Big Bus brand and have avoided it as often as we could. But they were the only tour bus in Sydney during our stay. I am now willing to give them a second look in other cities.
