It’s a great cruise on a nice evening but not when it is raining. The staff on board the ship is very friendly and accommodating.
Overall good however I was surprised the ship made a stop to pick up guests at Circular Quay which was not noted in the description. I found that we really didn’t do a lot of cruising around the harbours. The ship stopped numerous times for my liking . The entertainment was good but would have been great if it was ongoing. The food and service was good.
Was a great experience during Vivid festival. The views of the harbor lit up during the festival was really great.
Welcoming staff! Fun live music. Little bit of noticeable rocking from the water. If you get sea sick do take something.
We booked the starlight dinner experience and added the window seat option. My husband and I had a good window side table and our waitress (Queen I think?) was so lovely and friendly. You can order your drinks by scanning a code at your table and then ordering and paying for your drinks through that. Drinks were a little pricey but not too bad. The canapés were tasty as was my smoked salmon with lemon and fennel. My husband had the ravioli entree which he said was nice enough but felt like it hadn’t been hand made. It was similar to the packs of filled pasta you can get from the supermarket. We both had the lamb shoulder with mash for our main but I wish I had chosen one of the other options. The lamb was very fatty and drenched in a super salty gravy. The mash was delicious but it definitely wasn’t a fancy dinner main. The desserts redeemed things a bit. My husband had the chocolate and mandarin dome whereas I had the mango coconut (I think) option - very nice! The live music was ok but very old school. It would have been nice to have a more lively jazz duo / trio who played more upbeat and less older generation music. The boat left from King St wharf which involved us taking a cab from our hotel in Circular Quay (CQ) to Darling Harbour… only to find that there was a passenger pick up from the CQ after all. I did not see this as a pick up option but worth asking. The cruise took more than the 2 hours advised. We were out for more than 2.5 hours and the passengers disembarking at the original wharf would only have got off at 10pm. Overall we enjoyed our dinner cruise but felt the meals were not good value for money. The wait staff were very friendly and professional and it was amazing to see Sydney at night from the water. We’re glad we did the cruise but would not do again.
Well organized, beautiful views with live entertainment. The wait staff was great and the food very good.
Good food and service. Entertainment was fun as well. Very clean. I recommend the three hour cruise. Very relaxing..
The Harbor was beautiful with the lights off Sydney sing brightly. The food was good as well! Would do again!
A wonderful dinner cruise in the harbor of Sydney, with up-close viewing of the iconic Opera House. Food was delicious and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend this excursion if time allows you in Sydney!
Worthwhile paying for a window seat .The service was excellent as was the food . You can obtain your ticket in advance from Captain Cooke desk prior to getting on board
