Die Hunter Valley Grains & Grapes Tour führt Sie auf eine köstliche Wein-, Käse- und Spirituosentour mit Mittagessen nur wenige Stunden nördlich von Sydney! Was diese Tour zur ultimativen Hunter-Reise macht, ist, dass Sie die Möglichkeit haben, auch ein lokales Bier an ein paar Stopps zu probieren ODER Sie können die Weine behalten & auch etwas Schokolade hinzufügen! Die Grains & Grapes hat für jeden Geschmack etwas zu bieten! Neben all den schönen Weinen, leckeren Bieren und handgefertigten Produkten arbeitet Dave’s hart daran, Sie hinter die Kulissen der Produktionshäuser zu bringen, um die Macher zu treffen und ein wahres Gefühl für die Region zu bekommen. Wir werden immer eine Führung durch einen Weinberg, ein Weingut oder beides auf unseren Touren beinhalten. Wir versuchen auch, nur kleine familiengeführte Weingüter zu besuchen, damit unsere Gäste sich mit Einheimischen treffen und chatten können, um wirklich zu schätzen und zu verstehen, was in das hineingeht, was sie probieren. Da wir kleine Produzenten besuchen, sind unsere Tourenfahrzeuge in der Regel zwischen 12 und 22 Sitzplätzen (inklusive Fahrer). Die Dave’s lieben das Hunter Valley & wir wollen euch das BESTE der Region zeigen!

In unserem ersten Weingut nimmt Sie Ihr „Dave for the day“ mit auf eine geführte Tour durch einen Weinberg, ein Weinbaugebiet oder beides. Nachdem Sie ein wenig gelernt haben, ist es Zeit, ein wenig zu trinken mit unserer ersten Weinprobe.
Das Mittagessen ist oft in einem Weingut und die zweite Station, aber wir nutzen eine Reihe von Veranstaltungsorten. Wir finden ein gemeinsames Mittagessen oder ausgezeichnete Holzfeuerpizzas, Salate und ein Getränk bringt die Unterhaltung in Gang! Für Ihr Getränk können Sie Bier, Wein oder Softdrink wählen. Mittagessen und Getränk sind im Tourpreis inbegriffen.
Nach dem Mittagessen besuchen wir die Kellertür einer lokalen Familienbrennerei für Gin, Wodka und Likörverkostung. Es ist ein perfekter Nachmittagsvorteil!
Die zweite offizielle Weinprobe des Tages (wir zählen den Wein, den Sie zu Mittag trinken, nicht als Verkostung) wird mit lokalem Käse ergänzt. Ihr Server wird Sie darauf hinweisen, welcher Wein am besten zu welchem Käse passt.
Der letzte Halt, Sie haben die Wahl, eine Wein-Schokoladen-Paarung zu genießen oder Sie können einen Paddel von lokal hergestellten Craft-Bieren probieren.

We had a fantastic experience with Dave’s Tours from start to finish. The customer service was excellent—Fiona was especially helpful when we were making our booking. Before confirming, we got in touch to ask about vegetarian options, as other tours we looked at only offered a salad (not quite enough for a full day of wine tasting!). Fiona let us know they could arrange vegetarian pizzas, which was great. We actually forgot to include this request when we booked through TripAdvisor rather than directly, but Fiona spotted this and proactively emailed to confirm she’d added our dietary requirements to the booking. On the day, our driver and host, Drew, was brilliant. He made sure everything ran smoothly, including checking that our lunch met our requests. The pizzas and side salads were really good, and Drew himself was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. His commentary during the journey added a lot to the experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable day out. The wine, cheese and chocolate sampling was fun. Our only small disappointment was at one of the venues, where we were expecting a flight of beers to sample. Due to supply issues, we were instead given a small glass of the same beer each, which was a bit underwhelming. That said, it didn’t take away too much from what was otherwise a great experience—we’d happily recommend Dave’s Tours!
Drew, our driver and tour guide, was exceptional! He told us about the area as we drove out to Hunter Valley. Each winery was excellent! We loved the custom service of the 4 TB winery’s. Lunch was delicious. We had plenty of wood fired pizza and salad. The trip was worth every penny! Highly Recommend!
Fantastic experience with our knowledgeable host Drew. We enjoyed the wineries and the pizza. Drew gave us expert commentary on the bus and got us all back safely. Well worth the trip.
We had a great time with this experience. Dave’s company was very professional and the experience of their historical Australia knowledge was apparent. The wineries and the experience was amazing, great wines, great food and the bonus cheese and wine was delicious!! I truly recommend this experience.

Great day trip with Col (Dave for the day) visiting some beautiful wineries. Lunch was amazing and loved the distillery. Col was incredibly knowledgeable giving us lots interesting info on the history of the Hunter and wine making.

Had a wonderful time! Our guide (Chris) was great- talked just enough to give us an idea of the area and the history of Hunter Valley, but also gave us some nice quiet time to enjoy the sites and relax. Wine was delicious at all of the venues, very friendly staff at all locations. We visited several places for wine (and beer) and ended the day at a distillery. Distillery wasn’t our thing but if you like flavored vodkas or gin, then it’s the place for you. Van was comfortable for the trek to and from Hunter Valley. Overall enjoyed and would recommend. Was a lovely end to our trip to Australia.
