This is a must! I only had a day to experience Sydney and I can’t express how thankful I am for booking this tour. It was a Power Hour! Best views! Photos! And wonderful crew! The host entertainment and guide was extremely helpful and humorous. The weather even in the winter was nice. Bring a jacket, and sunglasses, the rest is there.
It was convenient to get around the town. The Big Bus App is very helpful to figure out the stops and where the bus is on real time.
Thank you for your review! We're delighted to hear that you found the service a convenient way to get around the city. It's especially great to know that the Big Bus App helped you track bus locations in real time and easily navigate between stops. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you on board again soon! 😊🚌✨ Alex@BigBusTours
If you are short on time in Sydney and have already done the major sites (Opera House, etc.), this is an excellent way to spend a few hours. You get an excellent overview of the city, its famous beaches, and the primary neighborhoods within Sydney.

A bit of confusion on the timing of the first stop near me, so it was pulling away as I rounded the corner. Once I was on the bus the trip it was an interesting ride. I was focused only on getting to Bondi, so I didn't "hop off", but it gave me ideas for future tours to be able to explore Sydney.
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We regret the initial confusion regarding the first stop's timetable, but we’re delighted that the rest of your journey to Bondi was an enjoyable one. It’s wonderful to know the route sparked some inspiration for future Sydney adventures. We look forward to welcoming you back on board in the future! Best regards, Mihaela@BigBusToursTeam
We boarded the Bus 333 from bondi Junction at around 2 pm plus going to Bondi beach. We politely and respectfully asked the bus driver for help but was very rudely told off to get back to our seats . I hope the bus company apply corrective action on this driver who has a lousy attitude towards tourists. The Australia people are so nice . This driver is just 1 rotten apple that needs to be put away. This kind of rude drivers gives a bad name to Australia. We are tourists travelling in Sydney. R.Bon
This was a great way to see some of the highlights of Sydney. Took both the red and blue routes. Narration was informative and loved the little tidbits about some of the architecture we saw.
I thought this would be a great idea since we wanted to see the sites when we first arrived in Sydney. The Big Bus app was always wrong about where the buses were and there were multiple times when we had to transfer buses and most of the time the buses barely waited 20 seconds while we were running to catch one.
Hop on hop off aspect was great. Lots of staff to help you get on and off the bus you were looking for. What was lacking is the tour… lots of time spent listening to crappy Bangor on the audio and I’m gonna be brutal… the prerecorded audio experience sucks compared to an actual guide. It talks about things and half the time you can’t see what it is they’re on about. Folks, get a public bus and google it - you’d be better off.
Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We are thrilled to hear that you found our ground staff helpful and enjoyed the convenience of our hop-on, hop-off service. At the same time, we truly appreciate your honest thoughts regarding the audio commentary. We understand how frustrating it is when the timing feels off or the audio doesn't align with what you are seeing, and we are actively working on improving our audio synchronization and music selection. Your input is invaluable in helping us upgrade our tour experience. We hope to welcome you back on board for a much better ride in the future! Alina@BigBusTours

Hello Mel! Thank you for your feedback! We are very glad to hear that your trip with us was great. We are looking forward to seeing you back on our trips. Razvan@BigBusTours
Booked this as a gift for a family member so she could get her bearings around Sydney. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of her trip. The audio commentary didn’t work from the moment she boarded. She tried three different seats and still had no audio, meaning she missed the commentary for the first part of the tour. She then hopped off to explore one of the stops. When she checked the live tracker, the next bus was due within minutes, but there was no realistic way she could make it back in time. Looking at the map, the only other buses on the Red Route were over an hour away. I contacted customer service because there were no service alerts advising of any disruption. I went backwards and forwards with customer service, I was repeatedly told buses run every 30–40 minutes and that an hour-long gap wasn’t possible. It was only after I pointed out the locations of all three buses on their own live tracker that they finally admitted I was correct and confirmed there would be a 60+ minute wait. In reality, the bus arrived more than an hour later, exactly as the live tracker had shown from the beginning. Rather than providing a meaningful solution, customer service suggested she use public transport to try to meet the bus further along the route. That completely defeats the purpose of paying for a hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour. We paid for a guided tour of Sydney, not for her to spend her holiday navigating trains and light rail. Sydney’s major attractions generally only have a short daytime opening window. Losing well over an hour waiting for a bus meant missing planned sightseeing and the time couldn’t simply be made up later. The only compensation offered was a replacement ticket. For someone visiting Sydney on a once-off holiday, that has virtually no value. A future ticket doesn’t replace the sightseeing time that was lost that day. The most frustrating part wasn’t even the delay, it was that customer service spent 20 minutes denying there was a problem before finally confirming exactly what their own live tracker had shown all along. Between the faulty audio, the excessive wait, and the poor handling of the situation, the service simply did not deliver what was advertised.
