Great day, amazing experience, swimming with this creatures. They are so cute, timid and curios, and come so close to swimmers. Riding on boat to the island you can also spot pinguins and various birds, and see large numbers of sea lions sunbathing on the rocks Stuff were polite, helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again if have a chance
We had an amazing day sightseeing and swimming with the sea lions. What an amazing experience. Our guide Miguel Angel was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. The seas were a bit rough that day, but it didn't keep us from getting up close and personal with the animals. The sea lions swam right up to our feet. We also saw many birds, penguins and dolphins. We have have been lucky to get a small boat. There were just 8 of us! Some of the larger boats looked to have 30 or more.
Excellent guide! So fun. Well organized. We came very close to the sea lions, we felt how they were swimming around us. Highly recommended!
Very attentive staff. It was a little late on the exit, but nothing that disrupts the walk. It really was an incredible experience. As a suggestion, the boat could offer drinking water, as there is plenty of sun and heat and also a fresh water shower for when we landed after swimming.
I did read ahead that the water was freezing, but that was still rough. Everyone was so sweet though and we had a nice time. My 12 yr old did get very seasick so be prepared.
Once in a lifetime! There is nothing like being this close to thousands of sea lions. I wish I had worn goggles! Highly recommend this trip.
Lovely experience, sea lions approach and touch you by themselves. Also, good wetsuites and hot drinks are provided, so cool water is not an issue at all.
It really wasn’t exactly as described… there were no snacks as advertised, the boat was not clean, and even though I’ve washed myself 3 times with lots of soap over the last 4 hours, the stench of that guano and sea lion excrement filled water is still quite present. On the plus side, they were very interesting, but the choppy and icy cold water was very unpleasant. Oh the stench…
Hello, good afternoon, the two-star rating does not reflect the great experience of visiting the Palomino Islands and swimming with sea lions. Being in a natural area, we cannot control the bad smell of the sea since we will be in a habitat of many animals that live freely.
Swimming with the sea lions. The guides were great, very helpful. Equipment was good. Easy pickup with our driver to site.
Trip was canceled due to fog! I asked for a refund and have not heard back from the travel agency!!!!! Meanwhile I keep getting so many messages to write a review. That’s bad customer service. Viator please look into the matter and resolve.
Hello, sorry, we have already made the refund. You can also do it yourself from your page. By leaving a negative comment it harms us since you never provided the service.
