Wir bieten Expertenwissen über die Region, den Strand und die Wellen, die nur durch einheimische, lokale Unterweisung auf der Grundlage einer lebenslangen lokalen Erfahrung bereitgestellt werden können. Wir bieten Unterricht in Englisch und Spanisch an. Tamarindo Beach beherbergt eine Weltklasse-Lernwelle, die perfekt für alle ist, von Anfängern auf einem Softtop-Board bis hin zu fortgeschritteneren Shortboardern und allem dazwischen. Wir arbeiten mit allen Alters- und Leistungsstufen. Wir passen Ihren Unterricht an Ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse an, basierend auf Ihrem Fähigkeitsniveau. Wir lieben es, Kindern, Jugendlichen, Erwachsenen und Surfern mit besonderen Bedürfnissen beizubringen. Julia ist staatlich geprüfte zweisprachige Sonderpädagogin in NY und Mario hat über 17 Jahre Erfahrung im Surfunterricht! Wir sind ein tolles dynamisches Team!

Mario was awesome! We’re all beginners but have taken lessons before. Very helpful with a slower yoga-like technique for getting up. We each caught more waves than on any other beach. He was chill but also very eager for us to catch as many waves as possible—and gave us advice and encouragement throughout the session. The boards weren’t the highest quality but they fit us each well. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience with Mario and Julia. What I particularly appreciated was the personal experience Mario provided by switching back and forth (with each attempt) between my partner and myself. His assistant would help one of us back to the "starting point" while Mario was getting setting us up to catch those waves. I've taken 2 lessons in the past (years ago) and this was by far the best, highly recommend this structure as opposed to the large group lessons.

Mario was our instructor and he actually instructed! We have taken 5 or 6 surf lessons over the years around the world. Generally the instructors would show us how to stand up, then push us on to the waves. Mario and his assistant (sorry forgot his name!) went far beyond that. They were showing us how to catch the waves on our own. How to look over your shoulder and how to tell which way the wave was going. Our group has a mix of Spanish and English speakers. Mario and team worked well with everyone. Highly recommend him, his team and this great experience in Tamarindo.

First time surfing, met Julia in the beach, very easy to find. She gave instructions on the beach, and when i went into the water with Mario, she stayed and i could leave my backpack. Mario was with me 1 on 1, he was super patient with me when i made the same mistakes over and over. Felt safe all the way. There are so many surf lessons to choose from, I feel I really lucked out and found the best one.

Mario was absolutely amazing! He was patient, calm, and provided corrections after each attempt to catch a wave. My husband and I were able to catch a wave after the 2nd attempt (and multiple times after) due to Mario’s helpful instructions. Will definitely be surfing with Mario again when we return to Costa Rica!

It was quite difficult to locate Mario on the beach so perhaps a small sign would be helpful. Once we found him my child had a fantastic afternoon with him and learned to surf, getting up first time. Mario and his wife are lovely and really good with kids. We would definitely go back for another lesson if we are in Tamarindo again
