Viele Touristen entscheiden sich, diese Tour kurz vor ihrem Besuch in Machu Picchu zu machen, da Sie in Ollantaytambo enden können, von wo aus Sie den Zug nach Aguas Calientes nehmen (die Stadt am Fuße des Machu Picchu). • Dauer: Etwa 9 Stunden.

Die Tour zu Sacred Valley beginnt früh und führt Sie in das Hochgebirgsdorf Chinchero, das für seine Weberei berühmt ist und spektakulär in großer Höhe (3.800 m) gelegen ist. Wir besuchen ein Webhaus und führen eine Demonstration über Färbe- und Webtechniken durch als Besuch des berühmten Chinchero-Marktes. Von Chinchero steigen wir zu den Terrassen in Moray ab. Moray besitzt drei amphitheaterähnliche Terrassen der Inkas. Man nahm an, dass diese Terrassen, die in eine Schüsselform tief in die Erde gehauen wurden, verwendet wurden, um die optimalen Bedingungen für den Anbau von Getreide zu bestimmen. Wenn Sie mit der Erkundung von Moray fertig sind, begeben Sie sich zu den Salzminen von Maras, das etwa 3 km entfernt ist. Dieses Dorf ist als ehemaliges Salzproduktionszentrum bekannt, dessen Ursprünge bis in vorinkaische Zeiten zurückreichen sollen. In den Bergen gibt es über 3000 Salzbecken, die täglich von einem kleinen Wasserstrahl gefüllt werden. Wir steigen zum Fuß des Heiligen Tals hinunter und dann auf Ollantaytambo, wo sich beeindruckende Terrassen befinden, die vom Dorfzentrum aus führen. Orte, die besucht werden: • Chinchero (traditionelles Webcenter). • Moray • Salzminen • Ollantaytambo.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Waman Adventures! Our guide, Jenny, was incredible , she explained everything so clearly and we learned so much from her throughout the tour. She made every stop feel special and memorable. A huge thank you as well to Miguel, our driver. He was extremely skilled and experienced, and the ride was very comfortable in the cozy car. We always felt safe and relaxed. My wife and I truly enjoyed every moment of the day. The places we visited were stunning, and the entire experience was unforgettable.
