Sonnenaufgangstour in der Bergstation Munnar (4 - 5 Std.) Gästebewertung: Er holte uns um 4:30 Uhr in stockdunkler Nacht ab und packte uns zusammen mit einem anderen Paar in den Rücken eines winzigen Jeeps. Wir fuhren mitten in der Nacht durch das Nirgendwo, auf kleinen holprigen Straßen, mit kaum genug Platz, um uns zu bewegen, und ein Baldachin fiel über die Seiten, so dass wir draußen nicht sehen konnten. Wir hatten das Gefühl, an einer illegalen Schmuggeloperation teilzunehmen. Nach 50 Minuten erreichten wir unseren Ausgangspunkt, als die Sonne anfing, Licht auf den dunklen Himmel zu werfen. Als wir den Gipfel erreichten, genossen wir ein köstliches Essen zwischen wechselnden Wolken und Nebel. Eine Stunde später, Bäuche voll und ausgeruht, machten wir uns auf den Abstieg. Auf der letzten Strecke gingen wir durch einige Teeplantagen.

The view was absolutely fantastic and Surya was an amazing guide, making stops at the most scenic points on the way back

We really enjoyed the sunrise tour with Surya. He showed us a great view point hidden inside the tea plantations. To watch the sunrise from there was just magnificent. On the way back we stopped at the Kundala Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point and in the flower garden. The views on the way from the jeep are amazing.

Incredible views and great stops on the way back to Munnar. Mani was an excellent guide and driver! Sunrise meant we were the only people everywhere we went, and Mani showed us a quieter spot just round the corner from top station (with better views)

Excellent experience - a beautiful sunrise above the clouds, all to our selves and then a great way to see the attractions on the way back down. Mani was a great tour guide - very friendly and took us somewhere to pick up snacks on the way back. Highly recommend!

Surya was a fantastic guide for this trip. Very helpful and attentive. The sunrise was absolutely breathtaking and the viewpoint was well worth the short trek. Highly recommend.
