Beginnen Sie Ihren Tag mit einer Sonnenaufgangs-Heißluftballon-Safari über dem wunderschönen Magalies River Valley, westlich des Hartbeespoort Dam. Bill Harrops „Original“ Balloon Safaris verbindet seit 1981 45 Jahre Erfahrung im Ballonfahren mit herzlicher südafrikanischer Gastfreundschaft von seinem privaten Startplatz in der Nähe von Skeerpoort. Genießen Sie heiße Getränke und Kekse, während die Ballons vorbereitet werden, gefolgt von einem etwa einstündigen gemeinsamen Ballonflug. Nach der Landung feiern Sie mit Sekt und Orangensaft, bevor Sie zum Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant zurückkehren und ein Frühstücksbuffet genießen. Das gesamte Erlebnis dauert ca. 3-4 Stunden. Da jeder Flug von den Wind- und Wetterbedingungen des Tages bestimmt wird, sind keine zwei Ballonsafaris jemals ganz gleich.

Kommen Sie vor Sonnenaufgang an unserem privaten Startplatz an, um während der Vorbereitung der Ballons einzuchecken und heiße Getränke vor dem Flug zu erhalten. Genießen Sie im Anschluss an die Sicherheitseinweisung einen etwa einstündigen gemeinsamen Heißluftballonflug über das Magalies River Valley. Nach der Landung feiern Sie mit Sekt und Orangensaft, bevor Sie zum Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant zurückkehren und ein Frühstücksbuffet genießen. Bitte lassen Sie für das komplette Erlebnis ca. 3-4 Stunden Zeit.

- Bitte planen Sie ca. 3-4 Stunden für das komplette Erlebnis ein, inklusive Check-in, Ballonvorbereitung, dem ca. einstündigen Flug, der Feier nach dem Flug, dem Rücktransfer zum Clubhouse Pavillon und Restaurant und Frühstück.
- Alle Flüge sind wetterabhängig. Die endgültige Entscheidung zum Fliegen trifft der Pilot aufgrund der Bedingungen am Tag.
- Ihre bestätigte Check-in-Zeit erhalten Sie mit Ihrer Buchungsbestätigung. Pünktlich ankommen ist unerlässlich, da Ballonflüge für verspätete Passagiere nicht verzögert werden können.
- Die Passagiere müssen körperlich fit genug sein, um ohne Hilfe in den ca. 1.350 mm hohen Ballonkorb hinein- und herauszuklettern. Passagiere müssen auch ohne Unterstützung etwa 60 cm aus einer sitzenden Position springen und etwa eine Stunde stehen bleiben können.

- Bitte informieren Sie uns vor dem Flug über alle Ernährungsanforderungen. Vegetarische Optionen und alkoholfreier Sekt sind verfügbar. Halaal und Koscher Catering kann nicht angeboten werden.

Incredible experience! The staff are very well trained and friendly. It feels like a big family. The balloon trip was awesome! Beautiful views, experienced pilot and the buffet breakfast afterwards was delicious! Spoil yourself and make a booking!

This was our first hot air balloon experience and it was fantastic. The crew at Bill Harrop’s look after you so well. When we arrived at 4.45am they were already set up with tea, coffee and homemade muffins. We sat on the porch and watched while the balloon was being set up. We boarded and set off (after safety instruction) ever so gently and cruised peacefully over the valley while the sun tried to peak out behind the clouds on the horizon. It was a thoroughly enjoyable ride and even the landing was just a couple of minor bumps thanks to the very experienced pilot Flip Steyn. Flip was great and filled us in on the history and local landmarks. Once we returned to the club house there was a magnificent breakfast waiting for us , the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the facilities are great, making this altogether a very memorable experience.

Wow! What an experience, from arriving early enough to see the balloon being inflated to take off and the flight across Skeerpoort. Not what I expected at all. A gentle glide across the sky, it was remarkable. Pilot - Flip Steyn was great, he gave us interesting facts about the history of ballooning, mixed with a great sense of humour. The venue is beautiful and the breakfast was brilliant. Definitely something to put on your buck list.
