Many of the artisans, chefs, bakers, wine specialists, and family-run businesses we visit are people I’ve known professionally or personally for years. Those relationships allow us to open doors, share stories, and experience Turin’s food culture in a way that goes far beyond simply tasting what’s on the plate. I’m also delighted that the vegetarian options were appreciated. One of the great misconceptions about Piedmont is that it is only a destination for meat lovers. In reality, many of the region’s most beloved traditions celebrate vegetables, cheeses, breads and seasonal ingredients.
