Der Parque IbirapIbirapuera Park wurde 1954 anlässlich des 400-jährigen Jubiläums von São Paulo eingeweiht und ist heute mit über 14 Millionen Besuchen pro Jahr der bekannteste Park der Stadt. Der Park empfängt von Montag bis Freitag rund 25.000 Besucher, am Samstag 75.000 und am Sonntag 150.000. Aufgrund seiner Dimension, Attraktionen und Besucherzahl ist es für Ausländer häufig mit dem Ueno Park in Tokio, dem Stanley Park in Vancouver, dem Hyde Park in London oder dem Central Park in New York City vergleichbar.
Das Museu Afro Brasil ist eine öffentliche Einrichtung, die vom Staatssekretariat für Kultur in São Paulo gehalten und von der Associação Museu Afro Brasil - Organisation für soziale Kultur (Museu Afro-Brasil Association - Soziale Organisation für Kultur) verwaltet wird. Es soll ein zeitgenössisches Museum sein, in dem die Schwarzen erkannt werden können. Über 6.000 Werke unterstreichen die Bedeutung der afrikanischen Bevölkerung für die Bildung der brasilianischen Kultur, des Erbes und der Identität, wie sie heutzutage bekannt sind. Es bietet auch eine Feier der Kunst und Leistungen der Afrikaner und Afro-Brasilianer. Die Sammlung gilt mit mehr als 6.000 Meisterwerken, Skulpturen, Dokumenten, Stichen, Keramiken, Gemälden, zeitgenössischer Kunst, Schmuck, Objekten, Reliefs, Fotografien und Textilien als der größte Afroamerikaner in Amerika. Über 70% der Sammlung befinden sich in der Langzeitausstellung und zeigen hauptsächlich Brasilien, einige Länder des afrikanischen Kontinents, Kuba, Haiti und die Vereinigten Staaten.

I actually did a different bike tour due to construction. Our guide Pedro was super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful! We saw many sights on Pallista Avenue and down in the Centro area. We covered a lot of ground, but it was an easy pace with mostly downhill streets. Taking the subway back was a bonus and a relief!!! 🤣
I went with foreign friends! They as tourists loved and I also loved Brazilian! Pedro did very good English, has many great stories to tell and we felt very safe walking through the bike center! That was the allot point of my trip with these friends!

This is a great tour! The guide takes your ability into consideration and helps you through the experience. The bike works! A fun time for sure, especially if you are a cyclist!
Great bike trip around the city. Pablo and the other man were super helpful and watched over us well. Got to experience the city. Definitely some hills but doable. Great time!

We had a BLAST!!! with Lucas and another tour participant. Lucas was very patient with us. He answered all our questions with perfect English. He was fun, engaging, knowledgeable, and professional. Had an excellent experience with Pedro! He was super kind, had a nice humor and took me through the city center of São Paulo and was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture and politics that shaped the city. I am Brazilian myself and have been to São Paulo before, still this tour showed me a lot of new things and gave me new perspectives about the city. 100% recommend!
