Wir besuchen die Promenade und sehen uns das magische Stirling Castle an. Hören Sie Geschichten und die königliche Geschichte des Schlosses und genießen Sie den Blick auf das Wallace Monument. Wir betreten die Burg nicht.

Wir besuchen die Außenseite des verbotenen Altstadtgefängnisses und hören Geschichten über die Insassen und ihre schreckliche Geschichte
Wir besuchen das renovierte Cowanes Hospital. Wunderbares Gebäude voller Charakter. Erbaut zwischen 1637 und 1649 als Armenhaus für verfallene Mitglieder der Kaufmannsgilde. Es wurde als Rathaus, Schulhaus, Krankenhaus und kürzlich als Künstleratelier genutzt.
Diese historische Kirche ist das zweitälteste Gebäude in Stirling und eine von nur zwei Kirchen in Großbritannien, die eine Krönung hatten und heute noch als Kirche fungieren. Einen Besuch wert.

We had a tour of Bannockburn, Stirling Castle, and Old Town. Frank our tour guide was a gem and very knowledgeable. My daughter, who is not a history buff, had a wonderful day thanks to Frank who made it fun for her. Highly recommend!

we had done the ghost walk before but as we were in Stirling decided to try the old town tour, it was a a fine day when we started and we were led on a great tour of the town , were told all about its history and its characters, our tour guide David answered every question we threw at him and obviously knows his stuff. even a rain storm did not put him off his stride well worth going on

Stirling Old Town and the Castle were the sites of centuries of Scottish history. Our guide took us on a whirlwind 90-minute tour, and was very knowledgeable. This was definitely the highlight of my stay in Stirling. I highly recommend this.

We had a great time walking around Stirling with our very amusing guide. My only complaint was of our own making - we did this tour last, so we had walked through many of the sights, but we certainly learned more than we had before! Our guide was knowledgable and open to questions and minor detours. The tour covers a fairly small area of the old town without too much walking, however there are rarely places to sit if needed.
<p>Very fun tour. Gave great history of the English royal family. That was a FANTASTIC starting point of information vas we worked our way over to Edinburgh and down to London seeing all things Royal. There were many things that we saw all through our trip that tied back into Stirling.</p>
