Putrajaya ist Malaysias Verwaltungshauptstadt und hat sich mit seiner faszinierenden Architektur und malerischen Landschaften als Reiseziel positioniert. Putrajaya ist eine Stadt in Malaysia, südlich von Kuala Lumpur. Es ist bekannt für seine Architektur des späten 20. Jahrhunderts, einschließlich der Putra-Moschee aus rosafarbenem Granit mit einer rosa Kuppel. In der Nähe befindet sich die immense grüne Kuppel Perdana Putra, in der sich der Bürokomplex des Premierministers befindet. Die erste Station ist eine von sieben Brücken in Putrajaya, die eleganteste. Die 240 m lange Kabelbrücke weist ein futuristisches Design in Form eines Segelschiffs auf. Die Seri Wawasan Brücke ist von vielen Aussichtspunkten der Stadt aus sichtbar.
Der Putrajaya See ist ein See im Zentrum von Putrajaya, Malaysia. Dieser von Menschenhand geschaffene 650 Hektar große See soll als natürliches Kühlsystem für die Stadt sowie für Erholung, Angeln, Wassersport und Wassertransport dienen.
Rosé getönter Granit verleiht der Putra-Moschee ihren ikonischen rosa Farbton, eine Eleganz, die sich innen ebenso bemerkenswert widerspiegelt wie außen. Die 1997 am See erbaute Moschee bietet Platz für bis zu 15.000 Gläubige. Besucher kamen vorbei, um Fotos mit diesem anspruchsvollen Wahrzeichen zu machen, das sich von malaiischen und nahöstlichen Einflüssen inspirieren ließ.
Dieses imposante Gebäude thront auf dem Haupthügel von Putrajaya und besticht durch eine grüne Kuppel im Palaststil und Steinmauern. In dem Bürokomplex mit einer Mischung aus islamischer und moderner Architektur arbeiten Minister und höhere Beamte. Es ist nicht für Besucher geöffnet, aber man kann es von außen bewundern.
Eine der besten Möglichkeiten, die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt zu erkunden, ist eine 45-minütige Sightseeing-Kreuzfahrt am Tag oder am Abend auf einem komfortablen, klimatisierten Kreuzfahrtschiff mit 76 Plätzen. Gondelfahrten sind ebenfalls möglich.
Seri Perdana ist die offizielle Residenz des Premierministers von Malaysia in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Die Eisenmoschee (oder Tunku Mizan Zainal Abidin Moschee) ist ein weiteres architektonisches Wunder, das einen Besuch wert ist. Die hauptsächlich aus Stahl gefertigte Architektur aus Drahtgeflecht lässt sich von chinesischen und deutschen Designs inspirieren. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Moscheen in Malaysia gibt es kein Minarett, in dem zum Gebet aufgerufen wird. Von weitem sieht es so aus, als wäre es aus Metall oder Glas.
Es wurde 2005 entworfen, um das neue Jahrtausend einzuleiten. Es ist das erste Denkmal, das in Putrajaya errichtet wurde. Der rund um das Denkmal verlaufende Fußweg veranschaulicht die Geschichte Malaysias. Auf den Tafeln sind wichtige Ereignisse im Land dargestellt. An der Basis des Denkmals befindet sich eine Zeitkapsel, die 2020 eröffnet wird. Wenn Sie die Rampen des Millennium-Denkmals hinaufsteigen, können Sie einen weiten Blick auf die Uferpromenade genießen.
Istana Melawati ist nach dem Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur der zweite Nationalpalast von Malaysias Yang di-Pertuan Agong in Putrajaya. Es dient als königlicher Rückzugsort für die Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Der marokkanische Pavillon verdient fünf Sterne für Instaworthiness, wenn eine solche Bewertung vorliegt. Gebaut, um die diplomatischen Beziehungen zwischen den beiden Regierungen zu symbolisieren, ähneln die atemberaubende Architektur und die feine Handwerkskunst den Dörfern und Reichsstädten Marokkos.

Overall, this tour was a bit disappointing. The main reason we booked the Putrajaya City Tour was to visit and go inside the Pink mosque, however we were not informed at the time of booking that on Fridays it is closed to visitors until after 3pm due to prayers. As a result, we were unable to enter the mosque , which was frustrating as this was the highlight of the tour for us. If this was communicated to us we could have chosen another time to visit. The rest of the tour was fairly average. It was nice to see parts of the city and surrounding areas, but it didn’t make up for missing the main experience we had booked for. That said, the guide was friendly and informative, and did their best to provide information throughout the tour.
The driver was lovely but this "tour" is just a way for the company to scam tourists. Calling it a tour in the title is a lie, it is essentially an overpriced taxi which you could organise your self for a fraction of the cost. Do not do this. Also made very uncomfortable by the driver having to take compulsory photos of me at different places to send his boss. Not female solo traveller friendly.

Great experience to have. The driver was on time, the vehicle was very clean, with air conditioning. The driver was very clear and very explicit. The experience was rewarding, we enjoyed it very much. The only thing I think about improving would be to increase the visit time to the sites "putra mosque" and "perdona putra", because the walking time to reach these sites is already long enough from the parking lot.

Driver was 30 mins late, could barely understand each other. Said he was just a driver and didnt even tell us where he was taking us, we had to Google it once we could understand what he was saying. Basically what youre paying is a ride to some of the places listed on the tour and you have to figure out the rest. Then took us to the botanic garden which wasn't even listed in the stops of the tour and said to just go walk around. Paid for a car for 4 people and we were squeezed in the back seat. It was just a bad experience overall. The architecture we did see was beautiful.
Had very good experience with driver Raj from the tour company assigned by Viator. Very helpful with the photo shooting and knowledgeable. Only issue was that the itinerary given to Raj by his tour company differed to that sold by Viator, ie 15 min stop at one mosque (masjid Tuanku Mizan) and the visit to the Moroccan was not on the list provided to Raj. There seems to be a problem with communication between Viator and the contracted tour company.

The Guide did not show up, and only bothered to let us know 15min after the tour was supposed to start. They used the fact that we changed the time of the tour 24 hours before the start as an excuse. Very poor excuse since rescheduling was confirmed. Extremely unprofessional to say the least.
It wasn't to my complete liking, a driver took me to the city, I don't know if I was a guide, he left me 2 hours to meet and just told me that was the mosque and the jabatan perdana, that I could go down and up in one of the boats that run the canal Then he took me to the steel mosque and there fortunately a volunteer guide helped me a lot with the history of the place
