Caminito ist die berühmteste Fußgängerzone in Buenos Aires. Es ist aufgrund seiner farbenfrohen Häuser und seiner tiefen historischen und kulturellen Bedeutung eine der beliebtesten Touristenattraktionen der Stadt. Caminito liegt im beliebten Viertel La Boca, an der Küste des Flusses Riachuelo und nur 400 Meter von La Bombonera, dem Stadion der Boca Juniors, entfernt. Es ist eine 150 Meter lange geschwungene Fußgängerpromenade, auf der bedeutende künstlerische Werke zu sehen sind.
Es ist in verschiedenen internationalen Medien als eines der symbolträchtigsten Fußballstadien der Welt bekannt und wurde am 25. Mai 1940 als „sportliches, touristisches und kulturelles Interesse der Stadt Buenos Aires“ eingeweiht. Diego Armando Maradona definierte es dieses Stadion als „Der Tempel von La Boca“. Auch verschiedene Sportstars wie Pelé, Zico, Andrés Iniesta und Thierry Henry haben erklärt, dass das Stadion der Boca Juniors ein gutes Erlebnis ist. Das Stadion hat eine Kapazität von 40.000 Sitzplätzen und 57.000 Sitz- und Stehplätzen.
Inspiriert von der Gran Vía in Madrid ist die Avenida de Mayo eine der größten und wichtigsten Verkehrsadern in Buenos Aires. Sie verläuft durch die Stadt von der Plaza de Mayo mit der Casa Rosada an einem Ende bis zum Nationalkongressgebäude am anderen. 1894 offiziell eröffnet, lohnt sich ein Besuch, denn es ist wie eine Reise durch die gesamte Geschichte der Stadt.

Es ist ein Palast vor der Plaza de Mayo, der als Sitz der nationalen Regierung fungiert. Dieses imposante rosa Gebäude befindet sich an der Stelle, an der 1580 das Fort von Buenos Aires errichtet wurde. Es war die Residenz der spanischen Vizekönige und beherbergte später, mit einigen Reformen, die Behörden der aufeinanderfolgenden nationalen Regierungen. Das jetzige Gebäude ist das Ergebnis der Fusion zweier früherer Gebäude: des Präsidentenhauptquartiers und des Palacio de Correos (an der Ecke Hipólito Yrigoyen und Balcarce).
Das Ateneo Grand Splendid wurde von der britischen Zeitung The Guardian zur zweitwichtigsten Buchhandlung der Welt gewählt. Es wurde über dem alten Grand-Splendid-Kino im Stadtteil Recoleta errichtet und bewahrt seine frühere Pracht und Eleganz, wobei die mit Fresken geschmückte Kuppel, die ursprünglichen Geländer und die Dekoration intakt sind. Auf der alten Bühne – mit leicht geöffnetem Samtvorhang – befindet sich eine Bar, die dazu einlädt, sich mit einem Buch in der Hand hinzusetzen. Sie können auch die Sessel auf beiden Seiten des Hauptraums nutzen oder in den exklusiven Logen sitzen, die als kleine Leseräume dienen. Im Untergeschoss befindet sich ein Bereich für Kinderbücher, im Obergeschoss Proben und Ausstellungen.
Diese imposante 20 Meter hohe Skulptur, die den Platz der Vereinten Nationen dominiert, wurde der Stadt Buenos Aires von ihrem Autor, dem argentinischen Architekten Eduardo Catalano, gespendet. Es besteht aus Edelstahl und Aluminium und wiegt 18 Tonnen. Es ist die erste bewegliche Skulptur, die von einem hydraulischen System und Lichtschranken gesteuert wird. Das Werk wurde am 13. April 2002 eingeweiht. Sein Name „Floralis Generica“ ist eine Hommage an alle Blumen. This tour provided a nice highlight of Buenos Aires’s top attractions. Juliet, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and had great energy. It is important to note that this tour is provided in up to three languages, which was not explicitly called out in the tour description. Because of this, I feel like time was wasted repeating the same info. Also, the confirmation said tour starts at 9am but I was not picked up until close to 10am.
Terrible service. Before taking the tour, I inquired and even provided the name and address of my hotel to ensure they would pick me up. Indeed, I was told they would, but when I expected them to come for me, it turned out my hotel was not included. I had to take an Uber and missed half the tour since they started without me and my sister. It was truly disappointing. I submitted my complaint and am awaiting a refund
Bad experience, badly organized, they forgot, changed me for the afternoon and passed me at 14 hrs and finally went to 15 hrs the guide explained very little, had problems with the organization, step in the cell phone and let us only walk .horrible

Disappointing the tour was 45 minutes short than it was advertised, came 45 minutes late the guide did not address the English speaking tourists but spoke to the Spanish ones, the van was uncomfortable and the tour did not end at the hotel os pick up . In Buenas Aires the tour guide was most difficult to contact and it took a great deal of time and effort to do so and still no direct contact could be made

The tour operator did not show up at the pick-up spot. I wasted one hour of my life waiting and waiting. I requested a refund and was told it is going to be approved but was not provided any explanation or apology for the no-show.

Tour guide spoke 75% of time in Spanish. So very little description. Very poor maps she waved at us. Felt under pressure to buy photos

Whistle stop tour of top sights, with little time to explore, but we were given great historical details, and a clue as to where to return to. Our guide was excellent and kept the whole experience fun and informative. Thank you.

The activity was great. We went to many places. The only downside is we didn’t have time to go to the cemetery. And our tour guide made it worthy It was great and spoke three languages Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

This tour was not what I expected. Firstly, we were all picked up and then we stopped somewhere for almost 20 mins. The bus driver and the tour guide both got off of the bus and left us all sitting around for at least 20 mins wondering what is going on. Later on we found out that they were waiting for another guest. It was a waste of everyone’s time and honestly there should have been a shorter grace period in effect. Next once we started the tour, we got a little history of the stops but the tour guide did not escort us around to explain anything else. The stops were more for getting off and taking pictures, not else. Also I felt like the time for each stop was very short and rushed. The time we wasted on waiting for the additional guest, could have been used on our tour. What made matters worse was that on our last stop, we were told to grab all of our belongings because the bus was not going to take us back to our pick up locations. This was not advertised in the description of the tour. The tour guide simply said she is with a third party company and roundtrip transfer is not included, only pick up, however the advertisement on TripAdvisor says otherwise. Myself and another guest showed her the advertisement on TripAdvisor and she said “thats incorrect”. As a paying customer, you need to advertise what is correctly included because this is considered false advertisement. Although Ubers are inexpensive in BA, it’s the principle of what is being displayed to customers. It was such an inconvenience. There needs to be some updates with the advertisement and internal communication with whatever third party company is being used for this tour. It would be nice to obtain a refund due to this false advertisement and inconvenience.

The guide was pleasant but should have escorted the participants around the places visited and explained in detail what we saw. The worst part is that we were not returned to our hotels but simply dropped somewhere in the city and told to make our own way back. We should get a refund of what we paid.
