We toured Zurich with lifelong resident Martin, and his enthusiasm and knowledge of this city were impressive. He shared the religious, political & cultural background of Zurich through the centuries, and we really felt like we were getting an authentic experience. Thank you Martin!
Martin is an energetic and enthusiastic guide. His English is superb. He took us up and down the streets and narrow ways of Zürich. He’s very well informed and ready with interesting anecdotes and historical references. There’s much to see with him in the lead. Great tour
Hans was a great tour guide!! We had a lovely time chatting with him and learning about Zurich's history. The tour was a great value and we were able to capitalize on our short time in Zurich, by participating in this tour. We can’t wait to visit again and see more of Zurich!!
We were shown the beautiful city of Zurich by Martin and he was great. Born and raised right in Zurich, he gave myself and my wife a first hand experience of the city, its history, what he loved about his city and so much more. We loved every part of this tour especially the ancient relics of the old Roman spas and the hidden areas between the buildings. We were so lucky to have Martin as our guide.
Martin was friendly, professional, and shared so many interesting facts with us about the history of Zurich! I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
Jürg showed us the city of Zurich from new perspectives and told many exciting and interesting stories with wit and charm.
As part of a class reunion, I was able to discuss and individually plan the stages of our tour in advance with our city whisperer Jürg, including the conclusion at the restaurant Öpfelchammer, where we then had our dinner. Jürg took us to places that are not publicly accessible, and with his vast knowledge and humorous manner, the 2-hour tour was never boring. I am already looking forward to the next city whisperer tour🤍💙
Vielen Dank. Ich freue mich schon darauf, euch viele weitere schöne Orte und Geschichten zu erzählen.
Hans was incredible! He took us all through Old Town and we learned so much about the history of the area. Ending under the city was a fun cap to the tour! Thank you!
Martin our guide was so sweet and knowledgeable. Through rain and hail, he kept us entertained and informed. We visited places we never thought existed and we felt like real VIPs visiting the city. Me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour and would highly recommend it to other Zurich visitors. Thanks Martin, you feel like part of the family now!!
This tour was a quick introduction to Zurich and the history that made the city what it is today. Martin was a good host, and did an admirable job even though he was new to the role. We learned a lot about how the city was shaped, and took some very interesting side trips to places most tourists would never have the opportunity to see. My only issue was the price seemed rather high compared to other walking tours we took with Viator. But then again, Zurich is an expensive town.
