I wouldn't have even been aware this museum was here if I hadn't researched everything to do in St. Augustine before visiting. Admission was included on my Tour Pass, but no one scanned it or gave me a physical ticket to get in, so I simply followed others through the turn-styles. This museum is very small, but well presented. I feel like it was created as a time-filler for guests waiting to board the nearby trolleys, and it does that job quite well. Most guests will likely be done in about 15 minutes, though I suppose those with a real interest in St. Augustine's history will spend more time. The model train is likely the highlight for most, but the pirate ship is fun as well. The classic penny arcade machines outside the museum entrance are a fun addition, and an easy way to blow some more money.
Honestly, this exceeded my expectations. Stopped in primarily because it was included in the trolley tour but ended up staying and looking at all the exhibits. They've done a good job making it interactive. Restrooms available. Exit through the gift shop.
We paid for this online and then they were letting people in for free...was very small, not really much informative that you couldn't get from tours on golf cart or water tour, so seeing the small amount of artifacts wasn't great. The rest of the stuff was overly played out and very commercialized (hyped up) for tourists, but seemed very cheesy. I wouldn't recommend this one.

It was definitely informative. I was able to learn about St. Augustine and its past. Trying to find where it was located was a bit hard and the “tour” was pretty short.
Very historical! Alot of information! Would have liked for the museum to be larger and have more information. And maybe even someone there to guide you through and answer questions. Clean and good air conditioning inside! Overall. Very nice!
This is inside Gator Bob's Trading Post. This is a free museum, don't know why it says there's an admission. This also the first stop for the Trolley Tours, so if you have some time check this out. This has a time line from the prehistoric native americans to present day St Augustine. I was very interested in the artifacts from the Spanish era. A lot of interesting things. There's also a big silver bar on display. I didn't spend as much time as the couple behind me, but I enjoyed it!
