Die Forth Rail Bridge, ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, wurde 1890 erbaut und überspannt den Fluss Forth zusammen mit ihren Schwesterbrücken, die 1964 und zuletzt 2017 erbaut wurden.
Der Falkland Palace im Renaissancestil wurde von König James IV. in Auftrag gegeben und war ein beliebter Rückzugsort für Maria Stuart. Hier steht auch der älteste echte Tennisplatz der Welt. Die erfolgreiche Fernsehserie Outlander wurde in dem Dorf gedreht, in dem Frank und Claire ihre zweite Hochzeitsreise verbrachten. Wenn Sie ein Fan der Serie sind, werden Sie das Dorf sofort wiedererkennen.
St. Andrews ist die Heimat eines Golfplatzes, der ältesten Universität Schottlands und einer großen Kathedrale, die bereits 1158 erbaut wurde. Es war das Zentrum des Katholizismus in Schottland. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, sich auf dem berühmten Old Course fotografieren zu lassen und die kleine mittelalterliche Stadt mit ihren geschäftigen Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen, malerischen Cafés und unabhängigen Geschäften zu erkunden.

Einer der besten Strände in Fife zum Suchen nach Muscheln und Seeglas, die dank der beiden örtlichen Glasfabriken, die sich hier vor 100 Jahren befanden, oft am Strand gefunden werden. Damals wurde unerwünschtes Glas ins Meer gekippt und wird noch immer hier an den Strand gespült, nachdem es vom Meer und Sand poliert wurde.

Our driver, Darryl, customized out tour to our desires and to.e constraints. He was charming and helpful, and gave us a running history of the sites we passed and visited. A wonderful day. The vehicle was spacious and safe.

We had a great day with Darryl touring the Scottish coast and St. Andrews. Darryl picked us right up in front of our hotel in a large van, plenary of room. Darryl is quite a musician and we got to hear some Scottish folk music from his former band he was in. Getting to see St. Andrews was quite a treat, and some surrounding pubs. It was a lovely day!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Phil. He was very knowledgeable about the area and brought us to off the beaten path places to see things like a Johnny Cash bench since we lived in Nashville for so long. He helped by taking pictures of us at St. Andrews which we will always treasure. Very open to making the tour and stops what we wanted since it was just us. Had a delicious lunch at Balgove Larder cafe during our day with him. Would highly recommend the tour to see St. Andrews and the fishing villages.

I want to put on record that Diana is the best guide you can find; the three couples were very comfortable with her, she showed us the most iconic places and landscapes of the area, it was very pleasant and an excellent experience, we recommend Diana as the best guide for traveling through Scotland on a private tour. Paul with E2G Tours provided the best day of our week in Scotland! We were picked up in front of our AirB&B on time with a comfortable, roomy vehicle. Paul was super friendly and a great conversationalist for our day together. He shared lots of information on landmarks we passed while driving and those we stopped at during the day. Our family wanted to spend extended time at St Andrews and we were easily accommodated. We all especially enjoyed the candid pictures he took of us during the tour. Shak was wonderful. He was funny and very informative. When we got to st Andrew’s we felt like we played golf just from this walking tour!! Cave was great too!! Icing on the cake was the Scottish snacks our families new treats!

Our driver was Darryl. He was a good guide and took us for two different tours 2 different days. one was to the st Andrew’s golf course! He talked to the employee and they let us take a picture on the bridge on the golf course! It was such a neat experience and such a great friendly driver! We were a group of 4 girls and Darryl made us feel safe the entire time. He made suggestions for other things we were doing and some options for us to do them. It was such a nice experience to have someone from Scotland help us and give us some advice on things to do and see! Thanks for such a great tour Darryl!

Our driver Darryl was great! He was knowledgeable and very accommodating for our group on a girls trip. We loved being able to book a small tour group for just the four of us. And not one of the big bus tours. Loved getting picked up directly from our hotel. Felt more personal and Darryl’s personality was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend.
