Spukhaftes Rom & wahres Verbrechen : Cenci Curse Exploration Spiel und Tour

I didn't realize it was going to be structured almost like a scavenger hunt, though this was actually more fun than a standard walking tour. It's not really a ghost tour- though some of the areas you stop at do have a haunted history. That being said, it takes you to some must-see and hidden gem locations all around downtown Rome, and that was really quite cool. My grievance is that some of the spots turned out to be close to each other, but it has you go back and forth and back and forth rather than structuring it so your trip is circular or linear. Also, our first two stops were closed or obscured by major ongoing construction, which meant we were unable to play the game and answer the prompt to generate the next location without just having the answer revealed - which was kind of a bummer way to start the whole thing. Obviously they can't monitor those things in real time, but hopefully they're updating the locations if a stop is permanently closed or unavailable to the public to view for the unforeseeable future. Anyways, I thought this actually seemed like a fun activity for families or friends - but be prepared to do some major back and forth walking.

It's great and so much fun. Some places were under construction and it was a little difficult, but we had a great time!

I purchased the experience because the reviews and the information says you can listen to it without having to walk through Rome. I got it so I could listen to it while my husband who has difficulty walking was resting. I was never able to listen to the experience. I downloaded the app, went to the ghost experience but it wouldn’t play! Ugh, I was looking forward to hearing the stories.

Really nice and very appreciates, it's a good idea to have a beautifull day with family with children.

The game was a lot of fun. 1 or 2 puzzles were too difficult or impossible to solve late at night, even though it is recommended to play in the evening, so it loses 1 star. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to see Rome from a different perspective.

Virtual or not, we have neither found nor seen ghosts. But we certainly know much more about each of them and the itinerary followed made us discover beautiful corners of Rome. It's a shame that point 2 (the doll hospital) no longer exists for some time, the locals tell us. And apparently no one bothered to update the game itself and delete it or replace it with something else (terrible!)

The game is too dated. The first three things are either no longer there or covered up with scaffolding. Once we got to that third or fourth thing that isn’t there it was just frustrating so we went back to our hotel.

A fun way to see some of Rome's less touristy spots and learn a little spooky history and get a good walk. The story is a little grim but hey thats history!

Lots of interesting and scary stories- saw different parts of Rome that are not on the usual tourist trail.

It was a lot of fun to explore on one’s own. It takes you through safe areas at night that while packed during the day, you may have to yourself. A fun history tour at your own pace solving puzzles and finding niche historical information you may miss otherwise.
