Sportfischen an der Küste Papagayo

Carlos talked us through what a fishing trip would look like. We were nervous having two young boys (8 and 12) and he assured us they would accommodate anything we needed to make sure we felt comfortable. We had the absolute best time! We caught so many fish including a MASSIVE 60+ lb rooster! We had an absolute blast fishing, enjoying the beautiful scenery and really enjoyed our fishing guides Sonny and Angelo. They were upbeat and fun to be with! Sonny was so knowledgeable on all the questions we had about the sea and papagayo coast. Even pointed put the house Micheal Jordan stayed at. Before heading back they made us saviche and with some fish we caught and cut up some fresh pineapple, it was so good! Highly recommend booking with them! We are hopefully going to do more tours with them before we leave and will absolutely use them in the future when we come back to Costa Rica! Thank you for a great time today! It will be a memory we will never forget!

Amazing fishing tour! We took the entire family, kids and all, and went on the hunt for Ahi Tuna! Jonathon was our guide and super friendly and knowledgeable about where to go! The yellow fin tuna run with the dolphins, so the kids got to see a ton of dolphins up close which was probably the highlight for them! No one struggled with sea sickness as it was still on shore. It was a half day tour and fun for all! We had fresh sashimi on the way back and the kids even liked it! We would recommend this tour and this tour group again and again! Their prices were great too, and I searched high and low. Pick up and drop off was easy at Casa de Playa beach. Book this one with no regret!

We went out with Captain William and David to snorkel and see the cave and had such an amazing experience that we decided to book a fishing trip. Our son caught a yellow fin tuna right away and was thrilled! Then the fish weren’t biting….. William and David were determined to make it a successful trip and tried multiple spots. We ended up catching the tuna, pacific barracuda, jack fish, etc. The crew even cut up the tuna and made fresh ceviche for us to enjoy on the boat. We all had a BLAST!!!!

We met Carlos on the beach of Planet Hollywood and signed up for a 1/2 day fishing, snorkeling and cave tour. My son did catch one tuna and we missed several others. The boat captain prepared it for us and it was delicious. We saw sea turtles while snorkeling which was really cool! My one suggestion is to use live bait for better fishing but overall a great experience!

We did a 4 hour sports fishing tour this morning and had the best time! Our guides did all the heavy lifting and we just got to catch and reel them in! So fun!
