Young Centre for the Performing Arts
Das Young Centre for the Performing Arts ist ein Theater im Distillery District in der Innenstadt von Toronto, Kanada. Es ist ein brandneues Theater, das in viktorianische Industriegebäude aus dem 19. Jahrhundert gebaut wurde. Es ist die Heimat der Soulpepper Theatre Company und der Theaterschule des George Brown College.
Unabhängiges Theater mit Schwerpunkt Ausbildung und Jugendprojekten in ehemaligem Destilleriegebäude.
Mill Street Brewery
Die Brauerei wurde im Dezember 2002 in Toronto von Steve Abrams, Jeff Cooper und Michael Duggan gegründet. Es wurde nach seinem ursprünglichen Standort in der 55 Mill Street im historischen Distillery District benannt, dem ehemaligen Industriekomplex der Spirituosenhersteller Gooderham und Worts.

Fun experience!
Carolyn was a wonderful guide. Friendly, accommodating, informative, and prompt. My wife and I enjoyed hearing the spooky stories and local history. Topping it off, the Distillery District was so cool and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Great tour!
Our tour guide, Lucy, was great! She shared stories that were compelling and also interacted with us to find out where people were traveling from and provided recommendations. It was interesting to hear about locals' experiences.

Distillery District Ghost Tour
We had such a great experience on the Distillery District Ghost Walk with Lucy! She was an absolutely fantastic guide—friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and a wonderful storyteller. She really knew how to build suspense and bring the history and ghost stories of the Distillery District to life. I may have even caught a little something in one of the pictures I took.

Better if after dark
The guide was super cute, well spoken, and enthusiastic. I only rate the tour as average because her content was not that great. It could have used a bit more history and context vs just weird sightings. Also, 8:00pm in a festive area is not conducive for a good ghost tour. Hard to be scared with music, festive people partying etc. The tour would have been much better if it started closer to 9:00. Would not recommend 8:00pm or earlier to anyone!

Meghan was great. My wife and I had a fun time. Nice, creepy stories.
It’s not frightening. Just eerie stories with some historic information about the distillery area. Nice balance of history and creepiness.
