Needed some help navigating the city and communicating with the locals. A friend mentioned vamos academy and that it was the perfect way to learn Spanish quick. Highly recommend
My boyfriend and I spent three thrilling days in Buenos Aires around Halloween, eager to mingle with locals amid the festive vibe. To chat more easily, we took a quick Spanish cultural crash course at Vamos Academy Spanish School, learning basics like directions, food orders, and introductions. It was fun, insightful, and super helpful, especially when we crashed a lively Halloween party and connected effortlessly! Pepa, our tutor, was fantastic; energetic and packed with tips. She topped it off with a $60 downtown tour, hitting Plaza de Mayo and hidden gems. Affordable, practical, and perfect for an authentic Argentine adventure, highly recommend if you're heading there!
Enrolled the family at Vamos Academy Buenos Aires for a crash course together, engaging immersion with games, nice teachers, and family bonding. Fun through interactive activities and cultural insights. Learned a lot about the culture and the language. Affordable compared to others. Highly recommend for kids and families!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! 😊 We truly appreciate your feedback and are delighted you enjoyed time with us!
This crash course is Argentina Spanish, giving you a unique start to your Spanish language journey. We were impressed on how much fundlementals covered in 3 hours. Wanda, our instructor, was very patient and adjusted to our pace, while keeping us on schedule. We received a booklet and flashcards to continue to practice these concepts.
We found that the most enjoyable part was having the opportunity to interface with the instructor for 3 straight hours. I had had some Spanish lessons before and had some familiarity but needed a full refresher. It was great having other people in the room to interface with. Instructor was very patient and informative. Of course there is only so much you can do in 3 hours but the crash course gives you some of the basics to be able to order in restaurants, going to hotels, seek directions and most importantly to buy things in a store. I highly recommend anyone visiting Buenos Aires for any extended period of time to spend some time either doing the crash course or to commit to a bit more time if they are there for an extended period, to do one of their weekly courses. I am sure that 2 or 3 hours a day for one week would have given me a huge benefit. As it was, the crash course it was very helpful. The premises were very clean and very well air-conditioned, given the fact that we were in the high thirties that week. We were offered water and coffee and treated very well. Everything was done very professionally but with a personal touch that indicated the establishment really cared about its students
We only had 2 days in the city so group classes were not an option. We wanted to learn the basics since we will continue travelling around Argentina. The crash course was very practical and to the point.
Originally I signed up for the crash course back in November. I was going to travel around Patagonia and wanted to get to survival spanish. The course was well structured touching topics such us, how to ask for directions, hot to order food, instructions and some other useful things. I enjoyed the classes a lot so after the trip to Patagonia I decided to stay in Buenos Aires for another 30 days and continue learning Spanish by taking one to one lesson. I guess not everyone can stay for so long that's why the crash course is so useful.
