Sounion (Poseidon-Tempel) bei Sonnenuntergang - Private Halbtagestour

Booked this tour for our group of 10 that included children and grandparents. Communication was great leading up to the experience. Our driver/guide was personable, knowledgeable and flexible. Visited a beach that was clearly mostly locals and wonderful. He suggested a place to grab a quick bite before sunset at Poseidon. Overall great experience at a reasonable price.

George was such a wonderful driver. I felt totally safe going by myself since my husband unfortunately couldn't make it with us. The sunset view at Cape Sounion is absolutely beautiful. A must see.

My adult son and I wanted to see the Temple of Poseidon at sunset. It was a big item on our list of things to see while in Greece. We travelled from Ottawa, Canada. Our driver Michael was prompt, friendly and very professional. He gave us a lot of information along the way about the history of the country and the sites we passed. He stopped at an excellent spot for us to take photos before even arriving at the Temple of Poseidon. He waited patiently for us to see the sites we were interested in and even while we had a quick drink afterwards at the onsite restaurant. We never felt rushed and always felt safe with his driving skills. He was a very enjoyable guide and driver to have and we felt very fortunate. We intended to contact the company to ask for him specifically to pick us up at the port when we arrived back in Athens after travelling for two weeks, but we ended up flying into Athens airport instead of taking a ferry and caught our flight 2 hours later. I hope the company rewards employees like Michael because he is an asset and is the person who is out there with the clients doing great business and providing excellent customer service. Will recommend the company and Michael specifically to friends who are going to Greece.

Great vehicle with WiFi availability. They even arranged for a car seat for our toddler which was great! Driver was very friendly and stopped At a few places so we could take pictures. I would recommend this company for tours in Athens!

Giorgos was such a magnificent guide and he took us to the most fascinating place! This location is a surreal mix of the beautiful ocean and the god who presided over it. You really get lost in the mystery of it all. Highly recommend it! Thank you for a memorable evening :)!

Hired this ½ day trip with the family and enjoyed an excellent afternoon. Our driver (Giorgos) gave us interesting information about the different places and good tips about accessing the archeological site. He made sure the experience was enjoyable and provided a safe ride. The transport was comfortable and in impecable condition. Will use them again. Highly recommended Francisco

John was not felling well (Hope he is better now) and Michael was our guide. We had a great time. Michael was very informative and accommodating. His driving was excellent, smooth and non eventful. The sights were beautiful and we even stopped for dinner at a local restaurant where we had fresh caught fish. The ride back to the hotel seemed longer than the ride down to Sounion but that only proves what a great time we had. We arrived at the hotel safely and look forward to our return. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE JG ATHENS TOURS AGAIN AND AGAIN. Have already told many friends about this experience. I believe a couple have already booked tours

We have used JG Athens every time we are in town. John and all of his drivers are extremely punctual, friendly, and full of interesting information. John replies to messages quickly and makes sure that everything is perfect for your trip. This time, JG Athens provided car transportation from the airport and to the port and we did the sunset tour to Poseidon Temple. Apostolis, our driver and guide, gave us lots of history and we were so glad to be able to spend time with him. Excellent driving (that I didn't have to do while on vacation which is a huge treat for me!) and lots of information along the way. It is a long drive but the sunset was gorgeous. We highly recommend (ie, insist) that all of our friends and relatives use JG Athens and they feel the same way that we do. Thank you SO much, John. We will see you again, hopefully soon!

Best tour possible! Fantastic information. John is a wonderful tour guide, speaks great English, and very proud of Greece. We had so much info given to us. The area was beautiful. He told us all about The Gods and explained things so easily. Answered all of our question too. Do yourself a favor and book with JG Athens Tours.

We really enjoyed the experience and the drive from Athens airport to Lake Vouliagmeni and along the coast to the Aegean Sea to the Temple of Poseidon including a drop off to our hotel on Athens afterwards. It makes sense if you want to see these sights and not have to rent a car. The driver was personable, English speaking, and told interesting stories with historical facts including showing videos of the history of Greece and the Acropolis, etc. Overall we had a great time and I recommend.
