Ein Besuch in Angkor Wat am Morgen ist ein magisches Erlebnis. Die Abreise vom Hotel zwischen 4:00 Uhr und 4:30 Uhr ermöglicht es Ihnen, die Schönheit der Tempelanlage während der ruhigen Stunden vor der Morgendämmerung zu erleben. Als die Sonne aufgeht, wirft sie einen faszinierenden Schein über die alten Tempel und schafft atemberaubende Silhouetten gegen den Himmel. Das frühmorgendliche Licht bietet auch ideale Bedingungen für die Fotografie und hält die komplizierten Details und architektonischen Wunder von Angkor Wat in ihrem besten Licht fest. Wenn Sie Angkor Wat am Morgen erkunden, können Sie die Massen besiegen und ein ruhigeres und intimeres Erlebnis mit einer der berühmtesten historischen Stätten der Welt bieten. Insgesamt verspricht ein früher Start in den Tag, um Angkor Wat zu besuchen, ein unvergessliches und bezauberndes Abenteuer, das das Wesen dieser UNESCO-Weltkulturerbestätte wirklich einfängt.
Nach dem Besuch der Tempel von Angkor Wat setzen wir unsere Reise mit einem köstlichen Essen in einem lokalen Restaurant fort, das etwa eine Stunde dauert. Nach dem Essen haben wir die Möglichkeit, von der Vorderseite des Restaurants aus die atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Srah Srang zu bewundern. Anschließend fahren wir weiter nach Ta Prohm, auch bekannt als der Angelina-Jolie-Tempel, der nur 5 Autominuten entfernt liegt. Dieser Tempel verfügt über prächtige Wurzelbäume, von denen einige etwa 300 bis 400 Jahre alt sind. Der Tempel wurde im 12. Jahrhundert vom großen König Jaya Varman VII. zu Ehren seiner Mutter erbaut und beherbergt auch die verehrte Statue des Buddha Sattva, die im zentralen Tempel aufgestellt ist.
Nach dem Besuch der Phnom-Tempel erkunden wir den Bayon-Tempel. Auf dem Weg zum Bayon-Tempel durchqueren wir die historische Stadt Angkor Thom. Angkor Thom City, eine der großen Hauptstädte, wurde vom berühmten König Jayavarman VII. erbaut, wobei seine Osttore besonders bemerkenswert sind. Nachdem wir die östlichen Tore von Angkor Thom erreicht haben, legen wir eine 15-minütige Pause ein.

Der Bayon-Tempel ist kompakt genug, um Besuche in beliebiger Reihenfolge zu ermöglichen, zumal das Fehlen einer umgebenden Mauer den Eintritt erleichtert. Der labyrinthartige Innenbereich mit seinen engen Kammerkorridoren und Treppen gewährt gelegentlich überraschende Einblicke in die rätselhaften Gesichter und macht es zu einem faszinierenden Erlebnis. We really enjoyed this private tour with our guide, Tann and driver, Nat. Tann was very knowledgeable and taught us about the history the Siem Reap area temples, but we also learned a lot about more recent Cambodian history. He is very experienced and also takes amazing photos! Nat was very professional, nice, and a good safe driver. Definitely recommend this one experience over just getting a tuk tuk, well worth the extra cost.

Our family of four adults and three children enjoyed a private sunrise tour of Angkor Temples from Siem Reap today. So, was our incredible guide who was very informative and provided an excellent overview of the history of the temples and of the region. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour even more meaningful. So knew exactly where we should stand to get the best view of the sunrise and we were lucky to see a beautiful one. So was really lovely with the children and made it a memorable experience for them as well. He pointed out special things that would interest them, including an engraving of a small dinosaur on a temple wall. So and our bus driver, Mr Nath were courteous, friendly, attentive and considerate at all times. They provided regular water and cold towels to refresh after each temple. Our family took a private tour to see the sunrise at the Ankgor Temples and it was such an incredible experience. Our driver, Mr Nath took great care on the roads and ensuring we were safe entering and exiting the vehicle at each stop. He also provided us with endless water and cool wash cloths throughout the trip. Our tour guide, So, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly not just to us, but our young children. He provided us with so much history regarding the temples and Cambodia and was very patient with us. He also took fantastic family photos for us in each spot and always showed us the best place to take photos ourselves. So’s communication in the lead up to the tour was excellent via WhatsApp. We couldn’t fault this tour, it was a fantastic way to see the Temples and get a greater understanding of the history of Cambodia. This was my second time to visit Angkor Wat but first time for my husband. So I decided to take a proper tour this time as my husband love history. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was magical!!
