Sonargaon, Panam, Jamdani Dorf Kultur- und Kulturerbe Tour

I had an amazing time with Shohag. He showed me around as much as possible during my short stay in Bangladesh. I really became a huge fan of Bangladesh! :)

I did the tour with Azim today. Everything went smoothly from the timely pickup to the drop-off. Azim and the driver are truly calm and pleasant people. I can recommend this tour to everyone as it shows many different places in the outskirts of Dhaka. It was really fun, and I would do it again anytime.

The whole company as well as the tour leader Azim were phenomenal. In case somebody is hesitant whether to visit Bangladesh or not, this is the right choice!

I booked the “Sonargaon, Panam, Jamdani Village Cultural and Heritage Tour” offered by Trip Tour Bangladesh via Viator. My driver/guide Shohdag was excellent — professional, friendly, caring, and genuinely pleasant to spend the day with (just needed a bit of getting used to the accent). The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the experience started off quite stressfully when the tour was cancelled just 40 minutes before my scheduled 8 am pickup time. After cancelling, they later called asking whether I could move the tour to another day, but it was my last day in Dhaka, so that was not possible. I just wish they had informed me the previous day, which would at least have given me time to look for an alternative. A few minutes later, they called back and told me to be ready for pickup at 8:30 am, after all, so thankfully the tour still went ahead. However, the uncertainty meant I suddenly had to sort out extra cash because I had already paid online by card and had not planned to withdraw more money at that stage of my trip. Despite the rocky start, I’m glad they fixed it and I still did the tour which I enjoyed.

We had an excellent experience visiting Sonargaon and Panam City. Everything was perfectly organized, and our guide and driver, Shohag, made the trip truly enjoyable from beginning to end. He was extremely professional, punctual, and knowledgeable about the history and culture of the places we visited. His driving was safe, smooth, and very confident throughout the journey, which made us feel comfortable at all times. Shohag was also very friendly and easy to talk to. His pleasant conversation and positive attitude created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere during the tour. He was always attentive, helpful, and willing to answer any questions with patience and enthusiasm. I highly recommend Shohag to anyone visiting Bangladesh and looking for a reliable, professional, and genuinely kind guide and driver. He truly helped make the experience memorable.

Had a great tour with Azim as guide visiting Panam Songaron, the ancient mosque and the river island village. The choice of lunch location at the royal songaron hotel was excellent. A highly recommended tour outside Dhaks

It was great! I especially enjoyed the boat ride and visiting a country side village. My guide Azim was extremely friendly and fun to talk to.

A beautiful day out exploring Dhaka’s exterior beauty and history. Azim did a great job of reliving the past days of Bangladeshi heritage. Definitely worth booking this to get a nice idea about Dhaka

Sonargaon and Panam were interesting, Jamdani Village not so much. The guide, Rakib, is a nice chap. You spend a lot of time in traffic, but that's unavoidable in Dhaka.
