Solidaritätstour

Beschreibung

Ula was our tour guide and she was a warm, outgoing, knowledgeable guide. She gave us so much understanding and background of the events. She was very concerned about meeting our needs and went out of her way to accommodate us. We are so happy we went on this tour and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you Ula for a great experience!
Our guide, Uskasz, was instantly likable and lead us on a fascinating and educational tour of the Solidarity Center. It is no wonder that this company gets such high reviews. The tour went beyond educational; it brought the movement to life. It was a surprisingly emotional experience. Trust me; you do not want to miss this tour.
I have traveled to 97 Countries and been on over 100+ Tours and Bożena may be the best guide I have encountered. The tour was amazing and her knowledge and zest for her job was apparent. I highly recommend this tour for history and Cold War buffs, but with experiencing this tour you will not understand Gdansk. Ask for Bozena as a guide!
We thoroughly enjoyed our informative tour with Bozena. She was very flexible in adapting to our schedule and extremely helpful in providing advice regarding other aspects of our visit. And her English was excellent.
We really enjoyed our Solidarity Tour with Bozena. She was very energetic and provided a very engrossing story of the history behind the Solidarity movement, the people involved, and its effects on the people of Gdansk and Poland. There was a mistake by Viator in the booking, which required Bozena ro change the tour itinerary. The alternative stops she added supplemented the core information and gave us a holistic view of the events around the shipyard and Gdansk. We highly recommend this tour and Bozena as a guide!
Sebastian was a wonderful tour guide providing an incredible amount of information! We are happy we were able to do this tour.
we could have spent all day, very well done and worth the ticket, look for the folding museum chairs if you cant stand for 3 to 5 hours they are a life saver and made the experience much better
Our guide was Weronika. She was very knowledgeable about the museum and the history of the solidarity movement. She offered lots of information to give us a better understanding of what it must have been like to experience this historical event. She was able to answer pretty much any question we had. The tour does involve a lot of walking but nothing strenuous. She also offered suggestions for other places to visit and restaurants to try. It was a very enjoyable tour. We would highly recommend it.
I booked this trip so it would be the first thing I did when I arrived in Gdańsk. I am so glad that Michael was selected as my guide. I don’t know if it was intentional or just happenstance, but he had a great understanding of many of my research interests — even those related to elsewhere in Europe. Michael was patient with all of my questions as we wandered around the European Solidarity Centre, Sala BHP, and the shipyard area — old and new. After this tour, I felt like I had a great understanding of the old shipyard area and ended up returning to it multiple times over the course of my trip. Don’t misinterpret that as three hours not being enough. But, there are additional things to do near the old shipyard that I would definitely recommend (the sunset cruise and climbing Żuraw 3/the green crane, for example). I’m surprised that this tour isn’t regularly offered in a group format at a less expensive cost. I would love to see that added as an option in the future. But, regardless, I had an absolute blast taking this tour on my own. Thanks again, Michael!
Really experienced, knowledgeable guide, cool couldn't have been more personal, showed us a lot more than we expected, the tour fire exceeded our expectations and was one of the best we've ever been on
