Very interesting and informative tour. Andy is an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge about the city. As a slower runner he kept the pace very manageable. Highly recommended

Lovely start to a sunny Sunday. Andy's story telling was well balanced - I discovered new places and people, without getting overwhelmed by too many dates and details. The running pace was just right. I would definitely recommend to both regular and ocassional runners.

Although able to run 5km in 30 mins, I worried this tour would be a challenge rather than a pleasant informative jog around the city. I should not have worried. Andy's interesting, informative and fun tour was thoughtfully and appropriately gauged for my ability and was a very gentle jog. It is a perfect way of seeing the main places of historical note in Canterbury plus a few lesser known spots.

We were looking for a tour of Canterbury and came across this running tour with 5 star reviews. Must be good then we thought, let's give it a go. So we booked it. It was only then that we questioned the fact that neither myself or my partner had run in years and both being over 50 the joints didn't move as smoothly as they used to. But it was booked and we were committed. The morning of the run arrived and we were up bright and early and waiting by the war memorial for our guide. It was cold and dark and we were both thinking why did we book this, we could still be in bedight now. Regret was starting to slip in. Then out of the darkness was a lone figure running along the cobbles to meet us. Andy, our guide had arrived with a big smile and bags of enthusiasm. Immediately any doubts faded as he put us at ease regarding the pace of the run and running experience. We were then off, zigzagging all over Canterbury and learning loads about the place in the process. Andy would check throughout the run if the pace was okay and he was a joy to run with. It was like running with a mate. We stopped for photos and it never felt rushed, in fact the run took longer than we expected but neither myself or my partner noticed the time pass. At the end Andy sent us a short video of the run with photos, a lovely touch. This was one of the best things we did in Canterbury and we 100% recommend it.
