Sintra ist eine Touristenstadt am Fuße des Sintra-Gebirges in Portugal, in der Nähe der Hauptstadt Lissabon. Der Nationalpalast von Pena befindet sich in der Stadt Sintra im Bezirk Lissabon, Portugal. Im Volksmund einfach als Pena-Palast oder Pena-Castle bekannt, stellt er einen der wichtigsten Ausdrucksformen der architektonischen Romantik des 19. Jahrhunderts weltweit dar und ist der erste Palast dieses Stils in Portugal.
Cabo da Roca ist der westlichste Punkt des portugiesischen Festlandes und Kontinentaleuropas. Es befindet sich in der Gemeinde Colares, in der Stadt Sintra und im Bezirk Lissabon. Seine geografischen Koordinaten sind N 38º46'51", W 9º30'2". Das Gelände ist für Besucher zugänglich, allerdings nicht bis zum Ende, sondern nur bis zu einem Bereich in einer Höhe von 140 m.
Cascais ist ein Badeort in Portugal, der sich unmittelbar westlich von Lissabon befindet. Es ist bekannt für seine Sandstrände und seinen lebhaften Yachthafen. Im historischen Zentrum befinden sich die mittelalterliche Festung Unserer Lieben Frau vom Licht und der Zitadellenpalast, ein ehemaliger königlicher Rückzugsort. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich die weißgetünchte Kirche Unserer Lieben Frau von der Himmelfahrt mit ihren glasierten Fliesen. Das Paula Rego Haus der Geschichten präsentiert die Gemälde der portugiesischen Künstlerin in einem modernen Gebäude.

We had an amazing day in Sintra and Cascais! Our driver Navaz was on time, professional and went out of his way to make sure we got to see everything we wanted! He gave us plenty of time to explore each stop and was always clear about pick up location. He will contact you through WhatsApp, so be aware of that. This was more of a transfer than a guided tour. There isn’t commentary about the stops and our driver dropped us and gave us time to explore on our own with a meeting place afterwards. We appreciated having the tickets already printed to see the Palace and bus transfer to the top. A great way to see a lot of the area in one day! Cabo de Roca is beautiful! A must see!

John was an excellent tour driver and he took us to multiple amazing cities and sights. Sadly, we couldn’t get to Pena Palace due to fires. But, we still had an amazing time!

Miguel was very knowledgeable and very helpful! We really enjoyed our tour with him. When you reach the towns this is a self guided tour however Miguel offered a lot of information on each destination. He even followed up with good restaurant and wine recommendations. Thank you Miguel!
