Diese weitere UNESCO-Weltkulturerbestätte verfügt über uralte geschnitzte Gebäude, unglaubliche Gärten und eine gotische Brise, die jeden verzaubern wird, der sich hineintraut. Voller Geschichte dahinter erfahren Sie alles über die Höhlen, geheimen Brunnen und Kunst, die aus dem Mauerwerk, den Templern und dem Rosenkreuz entstanden sind. (Vorgeschlagenes Denkmal )
Dieses herrliche Anwesen ist ein Dschungel aus exotischen Bäumen und blühenden Sträuchern. Ihre Geschichte reicht bis in die Zeit der Mauren zurück, aber sie wurde nach einer kleinen Kapelle aus dem 16. Jahrhundert benannt, die Unserer Lieben Frau von Monteserrat aus Katalonien, Spanien, gewidmet ist. (Vorgeschlagenes Denkmal )
Bevor Sie sich in Richtung Cabo da Roca bewegen, können Sie einen Spaziergang durch das historische Zentrum von Sintra machen. Dies ist eine gute Zeit, um sich auszuruhen, zu Mittag zu essen und traditionelles regionales Gebäck zu probieren. Sie genießen eine Stunde Freizeit!
Der romantische Palast aus dem 19. Jahrhundert ist ein Wunder, das Sie nicht so schnell vergessen werden. Es ist einer der besten Orte, um Fotos zu machen. Es liegt hoch oben auf dem Berg mit einer herrlichen Aussicht, die sich kilometerweit bis zum Ozean erstreckt. (Vorgeschlagenes Denkmal )
Im Herzen des Dorfes Sintra erhebt sich ein Paar ungewöhnlicher konischer Schornsteine über dem Königspalast. Dieser Palast wurde zum bevorzugten Sommerresidenz des Hofes und wurde als Residenz des Portugiesischen Königs bis in die 1980er Jahre fortgesetzt. Während Sie durch die wunderschöne und exotische Landschaft schlendern, gibt Ihnen Ihr Fortgeschrittener historische und architektonische Details über die Region, aber Sie können die Denkmäler auf eigene Faust erkunden. Wir beenden mit Cabo da Roca, dem westlichsten Punkt Kontinentaleuropas, ein weiterer großartiger Ort, um ein paar Fotos zu machen und die Meeresbrise zu spüren.
Nach mehr als einem Jahrhundert als Resort hat Cascais eine gewisse Bekanntheit, die neueren Resorts fehlt. Seine Geschichte ist in den Villen entlang der Küste sichtbar. Die geschützte Sandbucht war einst ein prähistorischer Fischereihafen.

Alexandre was our private tour guide. He picked us up from the cruise terminal and dropped us off at our stay at the end of our tour. He really took great care of me and my two kids. He was very informative and wonderful to talk to. We got to do everything on the list and he made sure we ate wonderful meals and taste some Portuguese delicacies. It was very relaxing but yet exciting day. I highly recommend this tour and ofcourse our tour guide Alexandre.
Our tour guide Teresa Chito took us on an informative tour of Quinta da Regaleira, Pena Palace, and Monserrate (which is undergoing exterior renovation so covered in scaffolding FYI). She has good knowledge of the area’s history and importance, and made the trip fun. She has a great sense of humor. Recommended!

We had a long, wonderful and memorable days. It was better than i can imagine it. Alexandre was very knowledgeable and great to talk to. He took great care of me and my two kids. The experience was not what I expected. The main attraction was closed. We didn't get a partial refund. Most importantly we didn't get a tour just a driver. We paid for a private tour and only got a driver that didn't explained the places or walked with us. Other people had their tour guides explaining and we had to tag along just to know what was the place about. Our "driver " drop up us at the entrances and asked us to meet at a point 2 hours later. If you want to do something like this just rent a car and do it yourself. Don't waste 500 dollars for a driver. Not worth it

Our guide , Nuno ensured that we had the best day in Sintra . Very knowledgable about the history, gave us ample time for photographs, gave us some free time to walkabout , SAFE DRIVER !!! We saw everything that we hoped to see. Can definitely recommend this tour operator and driver.
