Very friendly guides from both sides Zimbabwe and Zambia were happy to share with us their local knowledge. Totally recommend the experience.... but bring flip-flops and rain coat.
Mike and Thumba are amazing guides, knowledgeable and attentive with us. We had an excellent time, we felt very well taken care of. Good luck to you both
Everything was great, good comunucation and the experience was pretty good, you will get wet for sure so bring your flip flops
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you had a great experience and that our communication met your expectations. 😊 Yes, getting wet at Victoria Falls is all part of the adventure, especially during the high-water season! Great tip about bringing flip-flops. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable safari and adventure with us soon. Safe travels! 🌍🦓🌊
It was quite busy the day we visited and we spent some time transferring at the border. I am not sure if you are in Zambia and the falls are full of water that the additional view from Zimbabwe is worth the additional cost. In my opinion the falls are more impressive from Zambia. The guide provided more a walking guide than a guide with information. Some walked themselves but if you are transferring at the border the guide was of assistance.

We did this "both sides" Victoria Falls tour a few days ago as a family with two children, and I would not recommend it. What you actually get: a van ride from your hotel to the park gate, and a man who walks alongside you. There was no meaningful guiding — no commentary, no history, nothing you couldn't get from the signage or a free map. The Zimbabwean-side walk is a well-marked, easy path that any visitor can do independently, and the entrance fees are not included anyway, so you are paying the tour price purely for a lift and company. The bigger problem was information and communication. Crossing to the Zambian side and returning requires a multiple-entry visa. This was never communicated to us — not in the booking, not in the pre-tour information, not by the guide. The listing simply says to "check visa fees," which does not tell a traveller that the tour they have paid for cannot be completed without a specific visa type. We could not complete the crossing, so we did not receive the tour we paid for. Part-way through, the guide told us he had another client to collect and left, instructing us to make our own way back and meet a vehicle at the gate at a set time. We had two children with us and no working phone. Being left at an international border area with no way to contact anyone is not acceptable for a paid, guided product. When we raised all of this with the operator afterwards, the response was defensive and accusatory rather than an attempt to resolve anything. My advice: skip the tour. Walk the falls yourself, pay the entrance fee directly, and if you intend to see both sides, sort out a multiple-entry visa in advance.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. There are a few important points that should be clarified for future travellers. The reason you were unable to complete the tour was because you did not have the appropriate visa to re-enter Zimbabwe after crossing into Zambia. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality. Some travellers require no visa, others require a single-entry visa, while others require a double-entry visa or KAZA Univisa. For this reason, our booking information advises guests to contact us if they are unsure about their visa requirements so that we can provide guidance based on their nationality. Unfortunately, we cannot determine every guest's visa requirements unless we are provided with their passport details or asked for advice before the tour. You also state that you were "left stranded," yet you recommend that other travellers should simply visit the Falls on their own. These two statements contradict each other. If visiting independently is as straightforward as you suggest, then it is difficult to understand how you were stranded. Your return transfer had already been arranged, with a designated meeting point and pickup time, as is standard for this tour. It is also important to note that you did not complete the Zambian side of the tour because of your visa situation. Therefore, your review does not reflect the complete "Both Sides" guided experience that you booked. Advising other travellers to avoid the tour based on an incomplete experience is neither accurate nor fair. Our guided tour offers far more than transportation. It includes hotel transfers, assistance with border procedures, and a professional guide who explains the history, geology, ecology, wildlife, and cultural significance of Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian perspectives. While some visitors may choose to explore independently, many others value the local knowledge and seamless cross-border logistics that our guides provide. We encourage all international travellers to contact us before their tour if they have any questions regarding visa requirements. We are always happy to provide country-specific advice to help ensure they have the correct documentation and enjoy the full experience.
Absolutely loved our tours of both sides of the Falls with Prudence (on the Zimbabwean side) and Lucky (on the Zambian side). If you are fortunate enough to have either of these two as your guides, you are set! Even our drivers were delightful.

Cuckoo picked us up and dropped us at our hotel. Sheldon on the Zimbabwe side and lucky on the Zambia side were excellent guides including helping us through the ancient machinery of Zimbabwe immigration. Highly recommended

I gave this tour a 4 out of 5 due to the pushy nature of the drivers . This was one of the lower scoring tours from our visit to Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa , Kenya and finally the 2 Z countries in Southern Africa . The guides on the Zim and Zam sides were good who provided info, raincoats and walked with us to see the falls . The guides were just meant to drive us 1-2 km to the border from both sides . A very simple job but they were very pushy for tips and were very blatant about it . Hence this marred the experience . Company could be a little bit more responsive as well as they tend to be curt in the responses at give delayed responses which also affects the experiences . In short , the logistics , comms could be better but the guides saved the tour . However as we laid US$100 for the 2 of us for a group tour , paying up to US$40 from expected top is way too much . Even Americans won’t top so much at 40% of the tour price. Hence it was given an average rating as we felt like walking wallets .
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed visiting Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides and that the guides provided informative commentary, raincoats, and assistance throughout the tour. We would, however, like to clarify that our drivers are trained to provide attentive service and extra care to our guests as part of their job. They are not instructed to request tips, and gratuities are always entirely at the discretion of our clients. We are sorry if their attentiveness was interpreted differently and made you feel uncomfortable. We also note that your review focuses primarily on the short transfer portions of the experience, which cover only a small part of a tour that lasts approximately five hours and includes one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders. We are glad that, despite your concerns, you were still able to enjoy the Falls and the guiding experience itself. Your comments regarding communication and responsiveness have been noted, and we will continue working to improve our service. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for choosing to tour with us. We hope you left with wonderful memories of Victoria Falls and Southern Africa. 😊
