Silver Falls-Wasserfall-Wanderung ab Portland

The drive and the falls were amazing. The trail itself is something we could have spent all day doing. The guide was less than enthusiastic about our day. They gave some educational points but mostly we really had no idea what was going to happen. Just be warned you need to bring your own food (yes it says they don’t provide lunch but make sure you load up on breakfast before you come), you will get left with about 2-3 miles to do on your own (which yes they went to move the van to another spot but this information would have been nice in the description so we could have decided a different plan) It is not an easy trail, easy to get lost and turned around which one part of our group did. The guide was so spacey and could not have cared less if we had a good time or not. I get everyone has an off day but I think unless you get a great guide you can very well drive out there yourself and take your time instead of being left and feeling rushed (we were given a time limit) and like you are inconveniencing the guide.

Our tour guide Sarah was amazing. She even accommodated us during the trip by picking us up on the way to destination. She was extremely knowledgeable and super sweet. It was my daughters birthday and we had an incredible experience. However please know what when she says " you go down so you must go up to get out" whew! lol

Perfect day for a hike! The sun was out but it wasn’t hot at all. Sarah, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area, its history, even the flora. Extra water and snacks were also provided!

Sarah was my tour guide and she was great! She was so patient with our group and let us stop as many times as we wanted to take pictures. I am not a big hiker but this tour is a must do! It is worth every step. We did about 5 miles and 80-90% was a comfortable walk, not too many inclines. I felt safe the entire time and the trails were easy to navigate.

The guide was super informative and helpful. I enjoyed the whole tour.

Lovely hike through the canyon to multiple waterfalls. Really neat to see so many different falls in such short mileage. Easy drive to the state park. I appreciated having the guide pick us up without having to complete the full loop! Carrie was knowledgeable about the area and even fed us wild growing berries along the way?

Fabulous...self-guided hike with just enough time to see all the park has to offer. There is nothing like a walk behind the waterfall. The pre-fuel stop at the coffee shop in Silverton was an added bonus. The hike has minimal elevation gain, so don't let the longer hike intimidate you. It's worth it.

Good tour a little mis communication with the guild . Some of the group went wrong way and delayed the trip.
