Sightseeing-Tour durch Mallorca mit Bootsfahrt und Oldtimer-Zug

Beschreibung

What a fabulous day! Great way to see Mallorca. Pepe was a very knowledgeable guide & I loved learning about Mallorca. Great scenery on the road up to Monastery & passing thru several villages. Loved Sa Colabra & boat ride along the coast. I would have liked to spend more time in Soller, but it was already a long day. The arrangements were excellent...every stage of the trip worked like clock work. Thoroughly recommend
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🌴🚆🚤🚋✨ We're delighted to hear that you had such a fabulous day and that you enjoyed discovering so many different sides of Mallorca. From the spectacular drive through the Serra de Tramuntana and the Lluc Monastery to Sa Calobra, the coastal boat trip and the historic tram and train, this tour is designed to showcase the very best of the island in a single day. A special thank you for your kind words about Pepe. He'll be delighted to know that you enjoyed his knowledge and learning more about Mallorca's history, culture and landscapes. 👏 We also appreciate your comment about spending more time in Sóller. Many guests feel the same! Unfortunately, the timetable of the historic Sóller train determines the schedule, so we have to carefully coordinate each stage of the excursion. We're pleased, however, that you recognised how smoothly everything was organised despite the complexity of the itinerary. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing Nofrills Excursions. We hope to welcome you back to Mallorca for another unforgettable adventure soon! 💙☀️
Was awesome. Our guide Antonia spoke 4 different languages and was very knowledgeable about everywhere we went. We really got to see a lot of Mallorca on this tour! I would recommend it to everyone!!
Thank you so much for your fantastic review! 🌴🚆🚋🚤✨ We're delighted to hear that you had such an awesome day and that you felt you were able to see so much of Mallorca during the excursion. That's exactly why this is one of the island's most popular tours — it combines some of Mallorca's most spectacular landscapes and experiences in a single unforgettable day. 😊 A special thank you for your kind words about Antonia. Guiding a tour in four different languages while keeping everyone informed, organised and entertained is no easy task, and she'll be thrilled to know that her knowledge and enthusiasm helped make your day so enjoyable. 👏 From the breathtaking Serra de Tramuntana mountains to the boat trip, the historic tram and the famous wooden train, this excursion is designed to showcase the very best of Mallorca. ⛰️🌊🚂 Thank you for recommending the tour to other travellers. It means a lot to our team and future visitors looking for the perfect way to discover the island. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 💙☀️✨
This tour is a must! It is breathtaking! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 stars it’s because I would definitely extend this tour. You need a good 2 hrs extra. To savour the moment in Soler and where we take the tram too. But the rest it’s is just beautiful you will not regret this tour
Thank you for your review and for your kind words about the tour! 🌴🚆🚋🚤✨ We're delighted to hear that you found the experience breathtaking and that you would recommend it to other visitors. We completely understand your comment about wanting more time in Sóller and Port de Sóller. In fact, many guests fall in love with these beautiful locations and would happily spend longer there. Unfortunately, one of the biggest limitations of the Island Tour is the timetable of the historic Sóller train. As the train operates on fixed departure times, the entire itinerary has to be carefully coordinated around it, which means extending the stay in Sóller would require removing time from other parts of the excursion. The purpose of this tour is to offer a complete overview of Mallorca's most spectacular landscapes and transport experiences in a single day, including the mountain roads, Sa Calobra, the boat trip, the tram and the historic train. If you would like a more relaxed experience with longer free time in Mallorca's most beautiful villages, you might also enjoy our Valldemossa and Sóller Tour, which focuses on spending more time exploring these charming locations at a slower pace. Thank you again for travelling with us, and we're very pleased that despite wanting a little more time, you still found the experience beautiful and worthwhile. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 💙🌊⛰️🚂✨
It is a full day experience and there is more time spent traveling between the towns/places you visit, but the scenery is beautiful and would be completely missed if you were doing the driving on your own.
Thank you for your review! 🌴🚆🚋🚤✨ We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience and especially the beautiful scenery along the route. You are absolutely right that this is a full-day excursion and that part of the experience involves travelling between different locations. However, as you mention, those journeys are not simply transfers—they are an important part of what makes the Island Tour so special. The spectacular mountain roads of the Serra de Tramuntana, the coastal views, the historic train, the tram and the boat trip all offer perspectives of Mallorca that many visitors would never experience if driving themselves. 😊 One of the advantages of joining an organised tour is being able to sit back, relax and enjoy the landscapes without having to concentrate on navigating winding mountain roads, finding parking or coordinating transport connections. Thank you for choosing Nofrills Excursions, and we're pleased that you felt the scenery and overall experience made the journey worthwhile. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 💙🌊⛰️🚂✨
We were seated at the meeting place 55 minutes before departure. No bus showed up. No guide got out of a bus to find us. No bus was labeled . No bus number given. My first time booking off cruise and I will never do it again
Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you missed the excursion, but your description of what happened does not reflect the facts. On that morning, not only did the passengers for your tour find the correct bus, but there were also dozens of other customers departing from the same meeting area. The 12 passengers booked on your excursion boarded successfully, as did more than 70 passengers waiting for other tours. You were the only guests who did not locate the coach. This should indicate that the issue was not the absence of the bus or guide, but rather a misunderstanding on your side. The meeting point is clearly indicated on the voucher, and customers are also provided with contact details and a messaging system should they require assistance. Had you contacted us before departure, we would have been happy to help identify the correct vehicle. We understand that booking an excursion independently from a cruise ship can feel different from booking directly through the cruise line, but thousands of cruise passengers join our tours every year without difficulty. Missing the departure was unfortunate, but it does not mean the excursion was not properly operated. — The Nofrills Excursions Team
Very proffessional guide, nice day with pause options. The tram and train was very crowded, but scenery awesome.
Thank you for your review! 🌴🚆🚤✨ We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the professionalism of the guide. Our team works hard to ensure guests can relax and enjoy the day while discovering some of Mallorca’s most spectacular scenery. 😊 We also appreciate your comments about the tram and train. During the high season, these historic forms of transport are extremely popular with visitors from all over the world, which can sometimes make them feel crowded. However, they remain an iconic part of the experience and a unique way to travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Serra de Tramuntana. We're especially pleased that the scenery lived up to expectations. From the mountain roads and Sa Calobra to the coastline, Port de Sóller and the famous wooden train, the views are what make this excursion one of the most popular in Mallorca. ⛰️🌊✨ Thank you for travelling with Nofrills Excursions, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! — The Nofrills Excursions Team 💙🌴
When booking this trip on Viator, it said our bus would be in 2 different languages, German and English. When we got on the bus, the tour guide translated to 4 different languages which made it difficult to immerse yourself in the experience. It is also a lot of sitting for all the hours you are gone. If you have any car sickness issues, this is not the tour for you.
Dear Beverly, We’re sorry the tour was not what you personally expected, but several points in your review are simply not accurate. First, Viator does not state that this tour is limited to only two languages. The excursion is clearly offered as a multilingual tour, and depending on the group composition, the guide may need to provide information in more than two languages so that all guests can understand the essential details. Second, describing the day as “a lot of sitting” does not fairly represent the itinerary. This is a full-day sightseeing tour through the Serra de Tramuntana, and the schedule includes many different experiences: Coach journey through the mountains Stop at Lluc Monastery Scenic drive to Sa Calobra Over 90 minutes of free time in Sa Calobra Boat trip along the coast Tram ride Free time in Sóller Historic train journey Return coach transfer Of course there is travelling involved — the tour includes bus, boat, tram and train — but this is exactly what is described and what makes the excursion so varied. Regarding motion sickness, we agree this is useful advice: the mountain roads in the Tramuntana include curves and hairpin bends, so guests who are very sensitive to travel sickness should take this into account before booking. At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we are proud to offer one of the island’s most complete sightseeing tours. It is important that reviews reflect the actual itinerary and not incorrect assumptions about what was booked. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 🌴🚆🚤
We booked on the 4th for the 6th, and we had exchanges via WhatsApp on the 5th with the platform in charge of the transfer. A meeting point was agreed upon, but they never came to pick us up; the bus passed in front of us, made a pretense of stopping, and then left. We lost a morning of exploration trying to contact Nofrills excursions and had a brief exchange with Viator, where they informed us that they could not reach them either, and then we ended the conversation. 210 € thrown out the window. We are really disappointed and will not use this platform again.
The day starts with 2.5 hours driving through the mountains, then a stop for lunch at Port de Sa calibra ( very ordinary- self serve food) then boat trip to Port Sollar and tram and train and bus. A lot of wasted time- no time for a swim, shopping or eating at a good restaurant. This day could have been so much better if it headed to Port Sollar for lunch and a swim. Beautiful location we did not get to explore. If you don’t like hairpin bends and narrow roads this is not for you.
Jun 4, 2026 Connector27677448556 Good be so much better! Wasted day Tripadvisor review: Mallorca in One Day Sightseeing Tour with Boat Ride and Vintage Train The day starts with 2.5 hours driving through the mountains, then a stop for lunch at Port de Sa calibra ( very ordinary- self serve food) then boat trip to Port Sollar and tram and train and bus. A lot of wasted time- no time for a swim, shopping or eating at a good restaurant. This day could have been so much better if it headed to Port Sollar for lunch and a swim. Beautiful location we did not get to explore. If you don’t like hairpin bends and narrow roads this is not for you. Dear customer, Thank you for your review, although we believe it is important to clarify a few points for future travellers. The excursion you booked is called Mallorca in One Day, and the itinerary is described in detail before booking. The purpose of this tour is to showcase the diversity of Mallorca in a single day: the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, Lluc, Sa Calobra, the boat trip, Port de Sóller, the historic tram and the famous wooden train. It is not advertised as a beach day, a swimming excursion or a gastronomic tour. You describe the morning drive through the mountains as "wasted time", yet for many guests this is one of the highlights of the entire experience. The route crosses the spectacular Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage area, with breathtaking scenery, dramatic mountain roads and some of the most famous landscapes on the island. You also suggest that lunch should take place in Port de Sóller instead of Sa Calobra. Unfortunately, that would make the tour impossible to operate. The itinerary follows fixed schedules for the boat, tram and train, and changing the order would mean losing several of the experiences that make this excursion so unique. As for swimming, shopping and long restaurant stops, those are wonderful activities, but they belong to a different type of excursion. The goal of this tour is to allow guests to see a large part of Mallorca in one day, and this is exactly why it has become one of the most popular excursions on the island. We do agree with one thing: Port de Sóller is a beautiful location. The challenge is that if we spent several hours there, we would have to remove other highlights such as Sa Calobra, the boat trip, the tram or the historic train. Finally, your warning about the mountain roads is actually useful. The Tramuntana route includes famous hairpin bends and narrow mountain roads, and while most guests love the scenery, those who are uncomfortable with mountain driving should indeed take this into consideration before booking. At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we are proud to offer one of the island's most complete sightseeing experiences, designed for travellers who want to discover Mallorca rather than spend the day in one location. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 🌴🚆🚤⛰️✨
The advert indicates we could specify pick up from our hotel, but after booking this was confirmed not the case. Instead we were giving coordinates in Palma. These coordinates were on a long road where there were many coach trips picking up and dropping off so it was just by pure luck we found our bus, which was about 100m from the pick up point. Sebastian the host did a really good job - very impressively translating to three different languages. The first stop was a random monastery which wasn’t that impressive. Next was an area which was had a two hour stop for lunch, but all restaurants in the area were rated no more than 1.5 stars on google - not really appealing! Next was a un-scenic boat trip. Followed by a rushed stop off in port of soller and soller itself. It was a very long day and our first experience of a large group tour. Needless to say we wouldn’t do it again and really didn’t think this tour really showed off the highlights of the island.
Dear Hannah, Thank you for your review, although we must say that it is difficult to reconcile your conclusions with both the reality of the tour and the opinions of the thousands of guests who enjoy it every year. Let's start with the itinerary. You describe Lluc Monastery as a "random monastery". In reality, Lluc Monastery is the spiritual heart of Mallorca, one of the most important historical and cultural sites on the island, and a place visited by locals and tourists alike for centuries. It is located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage area. Calling it "random" says more about your personal interests than about the significance of the site. You then criticise Sa Calobra because you did not like the restaurant reviews. With respect, how can a tour company be responsible for Google reviews of independent restaurants? Our role is to bring guests to one of the most spectacular locations in Mallorca. Sa Calobra is consistently listed among the island's top attractions and most recommended places in travel guides, blogs and visitor rankings. You also describe the boat trip as "un-scenic", which is particularly surprising. The route passes along the spectacular coastline of the Serra de Tramuntana, with dramatic limestone cliffs, sea caves, hidden coves, historic watchtowers and the beautiful entrance into Port de Sóller. Most visitors consider this one of the highlights of the day. What is even more curious is what your review does not mention. There is no mention of the historic tram, the famous wooden train, the town of Sóller itself or the train journey through the mountains and orange groves. Did you forget these parts completely, or did they not fit the narrative of a negative review? Regarding the pickup arrangements, the information is very clear. Hotel pickups are available only from selected hotels and areas. For guests staying in Palma, there is one central meeting point. This is clearly stated before booking and on the voucher. The voucher also clearly explains that clients can contact us through the message system to request the bus number before departure. Had you done so, you would have known exactly which bus to look for. Instead, you chose not to use the information provided and then blamed the organisation. We are pleased that you recognised Sebastian's excellent work. Managing a large international group while explaining the tour in multiple languages requires professionalism and dedication, and he does a fantastic job. Finally, this is not just any excursion. It is one of the most popular and best-selling tours in Mallorca, enjoyed by thousands of visitors every year because it showcases the island's mountains, coast, villages, tram, train and boat journey in a single day. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But when a review dismisses Lluc, Sa Calobra, the Tramuntana coast, Sóller, the tram and the historic train as somehow not representing the highlights of Mallorca, it is fair to say that your opinion is very much the exception rather than the rule. — The Nofrills Excursions Team 🌴🚆🚤⛰️
