Will was our tour guide and he did a great job ! He was very informative and he gave us extra time to see the sunset at Mesa .
We had a great time! Clay took us to some very pretty areas of Sedona! Would recommend for anyone who has visited Sedona for the first time!
My husband and I did a tour today with Mr. Clay. Since there only two of us, he personalized the tour for us. It was great! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that would like to see all of the beautiful rock formations and the history of the area.
John was very knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I enjoyed the tour very much.
Driver Patrick was Spicolis brother from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High! He was knowledgeable about Sedona and had mentioned interesting fact about the origin of the area and places of interest that he took us too.
Our guide and driver Will did an Amazing job. He gave a lot of detailed information of Sedona! It was an Amazing tour! Highly recommend!
The meeting spot was great for us. The coffee shop next door had some nice breakfast options & coffee. Prepare to wait a while for the breakfast burrito, so plan to arrive earlier than you'd think for a "quick breakfast". The burrito was def worth the wait, so no regrets. The Van is comfortable and driver/guide was great-funny and entertaining. You will not get bored and will learn some things. Guide did not have the set route listed at booking. He relied on a voting system based on the options he provided. Not a deal breaker but but worth flagging. Speak up before you leave the meeting spot. Also, as much as I understand closed mouths don't get fed, guide went through a list of strongly suggested tip amounts and $20pp was the suggested minimum to help him get by. It was optional but personally created pressure and a sense of expectation, especially for a couple=$40. I think it is OK to remind people to tip and mention that is your bread and butter but having a suggested $$ list was a little off-putting. Maybe try a different approach would work better.
While in sedona hold on to your wallet, speed traps allover the city and don't trust any signs that say parking for 15 minutes is free while on 89a,dog leach. Selling for 40$ in coffee shops and lastly if you go in the summer be ready for some serious heat!
The place was a little difficult to find as it is in with other 2 or so other businesses. When I booked our trip I felt like the price was a bit on the high side. We arrived and were told to wait in the waiting area in the back which was nice and they would come get us when they were ready to start. We were about 10 minutes early. Trip was scheduled for 11:00. Didn't hear anything till 11:15 when they told us the driver was on another tour and must be having issues of some kind. After a few minutes they said they had to call in another driver and he would be in shortly. Clay arrived and we got loaded about a half hour or so late. Upon getting seated I see this eye catching sign hanging up front in the van that says I am expected to tip our guide 15 to 20% on top of what of what I had already paid. That just wanted to rub me me the wrong way! That is why I gave the 3 stars. Clay did a great job!
It was an interesting tour of Sedona and the guide lived there also . I was a good price for the length of the trip. I don’t remember the price . I believe it was an hour long .
