Siena und San Gimignano : Kleingruppentour mit Mittagessen ab Florenz

We arrive easily at the meeting point to check in with our guide, Lorenzo. He directed us to the bus where Francisco would be driving us. On the way to Siena, Lorenzo provided some great details about Florence and Siena and the different options we would hve to see. When we arrived in Siena he took us on a walking tour and helped to show us where the meeting point would be. We were given the option to pay and additional 15 euros each to enter the duomo which I highly recommend. Lorenzo was able to get a smaller fee for both my kids (aged 5 and 7). The church was beautiful. We were then able to walk around and grab a snack and shop a bit. We traveled to a beautiful vineyard for lunch. The food was delicious and the wine tasting was amazing. We bought a bottle as well as balsamic vinegar. We then traveled to our final destination. We went to the best gelato in the world and were able to take some beautiful panoramic pictures of Tuscany. I do wish we have a little more time in Siena. Over all, we were on the tour for about 9 hours. It was a very reasonable price for the day. My 2 kids, husband and mother really enjoyed our time on this small group tour. Lorenzo was an incredible tour guide and ended by providing some restaurant recommendations.

A great outing and Lorenzo was a great guide. Pick up and drop off were easy, with Lorenzo even calling a taxi for us to return us to the hotel. Lorenzo was knowledgeable and friendly. He also was attentive to those on the excursion who took a little longer on some of the steep portions of the walking tour. I would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Italy and wanting to experience the Tuscan countryside.

Great tour from start to finish! The smaller bus made the trip much more comfortable and enjoyable. Lorenzo was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, patient, and engaging throughout the day. The itinerary was well paced, with just the right amount of free time to explore on our own. We especially enjoyed the wine-tasting lunch, which was a highlight of the tour. Vincenzo did an excellent job driving, making for a smooth and relaxing journey. Overall, an excellent experience that I would highly recommend!

What a great day visiting these cities in beautiful Tuscany. Lorenzo, our guide along with Nino, our driver, were both excellent. Great personalities and care shown for everyone on the bus. Nino was a careful driver and ensured we were all safe in his friendly manner. Always a smile. Thank you Nino. Lorenzo shared his vast knowledge of Tuscany, Siena and San Gimignano in an interesting and informative way. I learned a lot about the history of Tuscany, thank you Lorenzo. He guided us up into Siena and San Gimignano, ensuring we all stayed together. He was very careful to ensure we all knew when and where the meeting point was in both places. Lorenzo had excellent communication in English and was able to answer questions the group had for him. Our lunch and tasting at the winery was nice although the pasta could have been warmer. Not being a wine drinker, I particularly liked the Olive Oil that we tasted. We arrived back in Florence on time with Lorenzo explaining to each person/group how to get back to their hotel/accommodation. This was very much appreciated, especially for me, travelling on my own. A wonderful day and way to see this part of beautiful Tuscany. Huge thanks to Lorenzo and Nino.

A wonderful day visiting Siena and San Gimignano. Lovely lunch at a beautiful winery in Chianti. Very comfortable air-conditioned bus and great to be in a small group. Francesco is a perfect driver and Alessia is a very kind, knowledgeable and friendly guide. Loved whole experience!

Viator did not deliver the promotional rate promised. The tour guide and the tour were fine; I wish that I booked directly with the tour provider. The reason I was given for not getting promotion was total “ BS”

This was a great way to see two beautiful Tuscan towns without having to rent a car AND a nice lunch at a beautiful winery in between stops. But what made the trip most enjoyable was our guide, Lorenzo! He was passionate and knowledgeable about the area, laid back and humorous throughout the day. He was also quietly attentive- getting up on the bus ride and checking to be sure everyone was good, present in the background during lunch making sure everyone was happy, providing water on the bus. And speaking of the bus, Francesco our driver was a professional!! Well done Francesco navigating some tough terrain. Also, it was small group: 15 people compared to 80 is absolutely worth the extra money…small bus as well. THANK YOU FOR AN ENJOYABLE AND MEMORABLE DAY Francesco and Lorenzo!
