Reiseverlauf
Wir holen Sie um 15:00 Uhr in einem Jeep von Ihrem Hotel ab und fahren südlich von Siem Reap durch die malerische kambodschanische Landschaft.
Ihre Reiseroute umfasst eine lokale Pilzfarm und -fabrik, um zu erfahren, wie Pilze mit technischen Methoden gezüchtet werden, eine Reisweinbrennerei, in der Sie auch lokalen Reiswein in Kambodscha probieren können!
Wir halten an einem einheimischen Familienhaus, das von Reisfeldern umgeben ist. Hier schlürfen wir eine kalte Kokosnuss oder einen lokalen Saft, treffen die Familie und verbringen Zeit mit ihnen und lernen etwas über ihr Bauernleben.
Wir fahren dann zu einem nahe gelegenen Fluss und fahren mit dem Boot durch die schwimmenden Dörfer, wo Sie freundliche Einheimische mit einem Lächeln und begeisterten Wellen begrüßen werden. Hier erhalten Sie einen faszinierenden Einblick in die Lebensweise der Einheimischen in dieser Region. Ihr lokaler Reiseleiter wird den Tonle Sap See detaillierter beschreiben und Ihnen etwas über das Phänomen erzählen, das eine Tiefenvarianz von bis zu acht Metern erzeugt und warum dieser See für das Überleben Kambodschas von entscheidender Bedeutung ist. Sie werden diese neue Perspektive auf Kambodscha zu schätzen wissen, wenn Sie den Fluss entlang fahren.
Zum Abschluss des Abends unternehmen wir eine Bootsfahrt auf der Wasserstraße mit lokalen Köstlichkeiten, darunter Softdrinks und andere kalte Getränke, während wir in der Dämmerung einen spektakulären Blick auf Tonle Sap genießen. Wir können damit rechnen, gegen 19:00 Uhr in der Stadt anzukommen, abhängig von den Jahreszeiten und der Zeit des Sonnenuntergangs.

The floating village and lake tour with sunset is the highlight of this trip. The jeep tour part is really cool (real US army classic jeep) and the visits to farms show you what life is like for the Cambodian people. Our guide Bunsom was very knowledgeable.

Great trip 4 hours in the afternoon to outskirts of SR to sample farm, village and floating houses on the lake, all by jeep. The itinerary catered for a taste of authentic in a home/farm, with insights into daily life, in addition to the nearby mushroom farm along dusty roads from village to village, then a short stop at temple, before on the boat to see stilt house and floating home along the lake. Top notch insights and super guide by Bunsom who provided an awesome, fun, adventurous and informative tour.

Really good experience got to see all the unseen parts of Cambodia and learnt a lot about the culture and the farms I really enjoyed the rice wine tasting and the floating village sunset was amazing would definitely do it again
