Reiseverlauf

Had a really good time in Tokyo. The all you can eat was amazing and the guide was literally the best He taught me places where I would never be able to find out on my own. Had a perfect time and the places I went were absolutely stunning. If I were to go on my own, I would probably find Shinjuku as a touristy place but my partner and I found the REAL Shinjuku place. So fun!
Thank you so much for your amazing feedback! We are thrilled that you and your partner were able to experience the "REAL Shinjuku" with us. Shinjuku can certainly feel touristy at first glance, but as you discovered, it has so many hidden gems tucked away that offer a truly authentic vibe. Our guide is delighted to hear that you enjoyed the "all-you-can-eat" and the secret spots he shared. It’s our mission to show guests the side of Tokyo they wouldn't find in a guidebook, and we’re so glad we hit the mark for you! Hope to see you back in our favorite neighborhood again soon!
My partner and I joined this tour for a fun night out, and it was the highlight of our trip! We wanted to experience the Izakaya culture in Kabukicho but didn't know where to go. Our guide was fantastic and created such a fun atmosphere for the whole group. The food and drinks kept coming, and it was great value. It was a safe, exciting, and delicious way to spend an evening together. Highly recommended for couples visiting Tokyo!

I honestly had the best time on this tour! I was a bit nervous about exploring Kabukicho on my own, but the guide was super friendly and made everyone feel safe and welcome. The "unlimited food and drinks" deal was amazing value—we tried so many delicious local dishes that I wouldn't have known how to order myself. It felt less like a formal tour and more like hanging out with a group of friends. If you want to experience the real Shinjuku nightlife, definitely book this!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such a fantastic time exploring Shinjuku with us. Kabukicho can certainly feel a bit overwhelming at first, so I’m glad our guide was able to make you feel right at home. We take great pride in creating an atmosphere that feels like "hanging out with friends" rather than a rigid tour, as we believe that’s the best way to experience the authentic heartbeat of Tokyo. It’s also wonderful to know you enjoyed the food and drinks! Our team handpicks those local dishes specifically because they are hidden gems that can be a bit tricky to navigate alone. We hope the memories of your Shinjuku night stay with you for a long time. Should you ever find yourself back in Tokyo, we’d love to welcome you for another round! Warm regards,
Good food. Good drinks. Good company. A great start to a trip to experience the atmosphere of Shinjuku’s busy streets and izakaya.

It’s wonderful to hear that you felt at home in the company of our team. We hope the rest of your journey through Japan is just as exciting and filled with many more delicious discoveries. We look forward to seeing you again for another round of drinks! Best regards, Naoto Kimura
Exceeded my expectation. I would highly recommend Japan tour guide. A week prior to the tour I received a message asking how I would like to customize my private tour, asking if there was any specific area I had to see, mobility limitations, food restrictions and shopping areas. They sent a few suggestions and after receiving my request came up with a personalized itinerary. Their detailed communication was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to find I actually had two guides. Akito and Naoto. Akito was my primary guide and is incredibly knowledgeable. Sharing historical and cultural insights as we walked through the Shrine. We decided on small samples at two different restaurants versus full meals. This was a great opportunity to try different kinds of dishes including beer and Sake. (some I had never tried before). Overall great experience. During this time Naoto was taking pictures and videos which I received after the tour. They do offer evening bar hopping tour and city highlights, unfortunately I had already made other plans but will save it for my next visit. Akito and Naoto truly want you to have a great experience in Japan and you can feel their sincerity throughout your tour. I wish them the greatest success in their future endeavors. Sincerely, Malissa Justice
Dear Malissa Justice, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that we were able to exceed your expectations! It was a true pleasure to help you craft a personalized itinerary. We believe that the best way to experience Japan is through a tour that respects your specific interests and pace, so we are glad you found the pre-tour communication and the "sampling" style dining to your liking. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed trying new dishes and Sake! Akito and Naoto were delighted to read your mention of them. Akito was very happy to share his passion for our culture and history with you, and Naoto is glad that the photos and videos will serve as lasting memories of your journey. Your recognition of their sincerity means the world to them. We would love to welcome you back for that evening bar hopping tour or a deep dive into the city highlights whenever you return to Japan. There is always more to discover, and we would be honored to guide you again. Thank you once again for your recommendation and for your well wishes. We wish you all the best in your future travels! Warmly, Naoto Kimura
An overall great experience, from the get go. I meet the guide, Naoto, and another local Japanese young man, at the meeting spot, easily seeing a sign with my name on it. I was a solo California, older than them dude, first time Japan visitor and we clicked right away and off we went. The guide explained where we were, what to expect, answered questions, allowed stops for pictures and gazing, and for me, just chit-chatting with two cool locals/instant friends was so fun, I felt safe/comfortable and then the Izakaya experience began: We arrive at local Izakaya number 1, then 2, then conclude with 3 with all of them being as great as the other and a soft intro to Shinjuku, for a first time non-speaking visitor. Eating great food, whether sashimi or fried tako or karaage, drinking Japanese lagers, or Hoppy's and learning some Izakaya/Japanese etiquette and some cool phrases, such as "Biru hitotsu kudasai." After the tour ended, I was that much more comfortable going on my own and making way through a really awesome place, with really awesome people and a day or so later I unexpectedly received a link to some pictures taken, that were just natural and not posed, which I did not even know occurred and must have been Naoto snapping away in the background. My personal side note, as an American first time visitor, be cool, learn about the local etiquette and don't get drunk and puke in public, that's gross and disrespectful.
Thank you so much for the amazing review — it truly made my day! From the moment we met, it was such a fun and comfortable time hanging out with you. Your positive energy, curiosity, and great conversation made the evening really special for both of us. I’m really glad to hear you felt at ease and had a good time, especially as a first-time visitor to Japan. It was awesome to explore the izakayas together, enjoy some delicious food and Hoppy, and share a few phrases like “Bīru hitotsu kudasai!” I also really appreciated your respectful and thoughtful approach to Japanese culture — that kind of mindset makes all the difference. And I’m glad you noticed the candid photos! I was trying to capture the vibe naturally without interrupting the moment — it makes me happy to hear they brought back good memories. If you ever find yourself back in Tokyo, I’d love to grab another drink together. Until then, sending you a kanpai from afar! 🍻 Looking forward to crossing paths again someday.
