This is a wonderful way to see a beautiful view of Cambridge. Meeting up was easy once I figured out which tour company I had booked with! They are all in the same area, so it was easy enough. Our guide was good. I questioned some of his information, but it was really enjoyable. There were five of us in the punt; the other folks were friendly and chatting among themselves. We were sitting in front of the guide, so I feel we got to hear more of his tour. I highly recommend taking a punt tour to see a unique side of Cambridge and learn more about its history.
Lovely ride on river cam. Some history as we were going along but sometimes hard to hear the guy describe things as we went along.

Having lived in Cambridge for a few years now, this was my 6th time booking a punting tour for someone visiting us. The booking was quick and efficient but I felt the tour guide wasn't informative at all. They told us the basics but didn't go into interesting stories or anecdotes. Half of the time they were either quiet or talking to his fellow punting guides .I have definitely done better informative interactive punting tours on the Cam !

John shared loads of really interesting and informative facts about Cambridge, which made the tour both entertaining and educational. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he does, and his personality really made the trip stand out. John was absolutely brilliant he was with the ruthorfords punting tour. He showed us everything and was very informative, he knew everything about Cambridge and was very funny and interesting to know all the facts on Cambridge. He was very friendly and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who would like to book with Rutherford. Definately give him 5 stars for good and very friendly service
