Am Morgen holt Sie Ihr professioneller Reiseleiter in Ihrer Hotellobby ab. Nach einer etwa einstündigen Fahrt in einem komfortablen Minivan mit Chauffeur erreichen Sie die Zhujiajiao Water Town, ein ruhiges und friedliches Wasserdorf, das von Kanälen und Fußwegen dominiert wird. Begleitet von Ihrem Guide werden Sie durch die Gassen spazieren, eine traditionelle Bootsfahrt auf den kleinen Kanälen unternehmen und Fotos von den hübschen Brücken und traditionellen Wohnhäusern machen. Zhujiajiao ist nicht nur berühmt für seine Wasserstadtlandschaft, sondern auch für seine verschiedenen lokalen Speisen und Snacks. Sie können auf eigene Kosten einheimisches Essen probieren.
Danach fahren Sie zurück in die Innenstadt, um den Yu-Garten zu besuchen. Es ist Shanghais bekanntester alter privater Garten, der in den Ming- und Qing-Dynastien (1368 - 1911 n. Chr.) Erbaut wurde. Alle alten Türme und Hallen, grünen Seen, fantastischen Steingärten und üppigen Bäume sind nicht zu übersehen.
Wenn Sie den Besuch in Yu Garden beendet haben, haben Sie ungefähr eine halbe Stunde Zeit, um auf dem Yu Market neben dem Garten abzuhängen. Die pseudoklassischen Architekturen liegen entlang alter Straßen und bilden einen Markt, auf dem Souvenirs und Snacks verkauft werden. Möglicherweise finden Sie dort interessante Gadgets.
Endlich begleitet Sie Ihr Reiseleiter zum Bund, ein Muss in Shanghai und ein großartiger Drehort für bezaubernde Nachtansichten. Es ist eine 1500 Meter lange Uferpromenade entlang des Huangpu-Flusses. Sehen Sie sich die Kolonialarchitektur auf der Westseite des Bundes an, während sich auf der Ostseite des Flusses die boomende Pudong New Area befindet, in der viele Wolkenkratzer in den Himmel ragen, darunter der Oriental Pearl TV Tower, der Shanghai Tower und Jin Mao Tower usw. Danach werden Sie zu Ihrem Hotel zurückgebracht. Wenn Sie die wundervollen Nachtszenen des Bundes genießen möchten, können Sie dort einen weiteren Spaziergang machen und selbst zurückkehren. Vom Bund aus können Sie auch etwa 20 Minuten in nördlicher Richtung zur berühmten Nanjing Road laufen, die mit ihren Einkaufszentren und Restaurants viele Besucher anzieht. Ge was absolutely amazing and made our experience in Shanghai truly special. She is incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and from the very beginning she made us feel completely comfortable. One of the things we appreciated the most was her knowledge of architecture. She doesn’t just show you buildings and landmarks — she explains why they look the way they do, the history behind them, the different architectural influences and how the city has evolved over time. This made places like the Bund, the former French Concession and the more traditional areas of Shanghai much more interesting, because we could actually understand what we were looking at rather than simply taking photos. She has a great way of connecting architecture with history, culture and everyday life, which made the whole tour feel much richer and more meaningful. Her explanations were detailed but always easy to follow and genuinely interesting. On top of that, Ge is extremely kind, flexible and passionate about what she does. It honestly felt more like discovering Shanghai with a very knowledgeable local friend than being on a standard guided tour. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
