Inmitten der aufwendigen maurischen Gardelegen des Parks wurde die Plaza de España im klassischen Renaissance-Revival-Stil erbaut und beherbergt heute mehrere wichtige Regierungsgebäude. . Sein halbelliptischer Boden ist von einer Mündung umgeben, die den inneren Platz durch ein Marmorgeländer trennt. Vier Ziegelsteinbrücken, die verschiedene Regionen Spaniens repräsentieren, ermöglichen den Zugang über die Mündung
“Bairro DE Santa Cruz”, das berühmte jüdische Viertel im Stadtzentrum, umgeben von schönen und großen Häusern, Palästen und weißen Hinterhöfen, die nach Blumen duften. Die Kathedrale und der Palast „Alcazar“ – ursprünglich ein maurisches Fort und einst Residenz der königlichen Familie. Dieser Palast ist eines der besten noch erhaltenen Beispiele der „Mudéjar“-Architektur, einem Stil unter christlicher Herrschaft in Spanien, der islamische architektonische Einflüsse nutzt. Spazieren Sie durch den Real Alcazar Palace, der Heimat von König Juan Carlos, und bewundern Sie seine Architekturstile von maurisch bis neoklassizistisch. Der Eintritt ist nicht inbegriffen und bitte seien Sie vorsichtig mit der Zeit, wenn Sie sich entschieden haben, Ihre gesamte Freizeit in Sevilla (3 Stunden) zu nutzen, um den Palast zu besuchen

Treffen Sie dann Ihren Fortgeschrittener zur vereinbarten Zeit und reisen Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel an der Algarve, wo Ihr Tagesausflug endet. Der Fortgeschrittener stellt Ihnen insgesamt 3 Stunden in Sevilla zur Verfügung, die Sie nach Angabe aller Informationen und Erklärungen zur Sevilla-Bedeutung alleine nutzen können.

This well-organized tour of Seville was a long drive, with stops to pick up and drop off guests from their hotels. However, it was entirely worth it. Our knowledgeable tour guide, Dominique, took her time explaining everything about the tour, including the attractions in Seville. We switched drivers a few times, but all were professional and ensured our safety. We made one stop each way for bathroom breaks and/or dining. Upon arrival in Seville, we had about 4.5 hours of free time to explore at our own pace. We had already purchased tickets to the Cathedral and Real Alcázar, so we headed straight to those attractions. We also visited Plaza España and enjoyed some Spanish tapas. Some guests opted for a boat tour to see the city. Overall, it was a very enjoyable tour, and we’re glad we booked it with this company.

Loved Seville! Would love to go back there! Would have rated 5 stars, but didn’t like how the bus ride home, everyone was dropped off at their individual hotels! Where as in the morning, there were several people at each pick up spot! Also our tour guide really pushed the one hour boat ride, which I don’t recommend! Your time is better spent exploring this beautiful city!

Regarding the return journey, we’d like to clarify that the drop-off process is the same as in the morning: guests are returned to the same meeting point where they were picked up, which is the closest designated meeting point to their hotel. This means that several guests may share the same drop-off location, just as at the start of the tour. You are free to use your free time in Seville in the way that best suits you, and we fully understand that some guests prefer to explore the city on foot. The trip was good but I felt Ana our tour guide was pushing us more to do the boat ride and visit the garden . She was discouraging us to do the castle and the cathedral, which were actually the highlight of the trip. The boat ride is pretty mediocre, I would have felt very disappointed if I didn’t visit the cathedral or do the whole old town square by myself using a horse carriage.

The day was long but enjoyable. Ana the guide is possibly the best guide I have ever had on any trip or tour both overseas or at home. She is very personable, humorous and knowledgeable. Her briefings and updates were in English and German and were very smoothly transitioned. The day in Seville was initially escorted to give us our bearings before allowing us to have about 5 hours to explore ourselves.

We did not have a good experience with the guide. We felt abandoned by the guide. If he would of handed us a Hop on Hop off brochure, we would of least had a map of the city. When we went to go into the Palace, there were not tickets available. Our guide told us to meet at 1.45 to go on the River Cruise which we did. On the ticket it said it included a free walking tour, which our guide did not tell us and at that point we had no time to do this as we had to get back on the bus. If we would of known, we could of did the walking tour, then the river cruise. As it worked out, we basically went to Seville for lunch and back to Portugal.
