Serengeti vom Himmel Jeder Flug ist eine andere Reise, die von der Richtung des Windes bestimmt wird, wo die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geräusche vom Boden aufsteigen, um Ihnen zu begegnen. Wir wissen, wo wir angefangen haben, aber wir wissen nicht, wo wir zur Erde zurückkehren werden. Das ist Teil des Abenteuers. Manchmal streift der Korb sanft die Spitzen des Grases und klettert dann durch die Luftschichten, bis Sie hoch genug sind, um die Kurve des Horizonts zu sehen, der von der frühen Sonne gold- und rosafarben bemalt wurde.Unsere Piloten haben nicht nur jahrelange Erfahrung darin, den afrikanischen Wind zu nutzen, sondern sind auch Interpreten des wilden Lebens in der Ebbe und Flut der Landschaft darunter. Etwa eine Stunde, nachdem Sie in den Himmel gehoben haben, kehrt der Korb in die Ebenen der Serengeti zurück.

Your day will start before the sunrises but you will not worry about any of that within a few hours. The crew will pick you up at your lodge. You will experience a “night” game drive in those early morning hours. It will be amazing. Then you will arrive at the launch site. That in itself will be amazing and exciting as they ready the balloons for launch. The sun will rise and you will be in awe. Once you receive your briefing and load up it will be up, up and away. You will not believe your eyes taking in the landscape and wildlife from above. We could hear the trumpeting of the elephants below. Upon landing you will not believe it is over. No worries you will be toasting champagne in the bush. But the second game drive begins from this point to another rally point out in the bush the team set up for breakfast. The food will be fresh and delicious. The pilots will present your certificates and offer some merch for sale if you wish to indulge. The third game drive will begin as the guides either return you to the rest of your group or lodge.

My first ever hot air balloon experience. The weather was fantastic with a beautiful sunrise while going up. Felt very safe with our pilot Frank. He has lots of experience and did a fantastic job. We were able to spot numerous animals; never seen so many hippos in a pool! It’s not cheap but so worth the money. Champagne after landing and a delicious fresh breakfast. Unforgettable experience!
