Gyeongbokgung war der erste und größte der königlichen Paläste, die während der Joseon-Dynastie erbaut wurden. Hören Sie Geschichten über Seouls Geschichte und werden Sie die Hauptfigur im Gyeongbokgung-Palast, Heimat von 500 Jahren Geschichte der Joseon-Dynastie. (Jeden Dienstag wird die Tour durch einen Besuch im Deoksugung Palace ersetzt)
Bukchon bezieht sich auf die obere Nachbarschaft von Cheonggyecheon und Jongno während der Joseon-Dynastie. Hanoks sind auf beiden Seiten der Gasse auf einem Hügel aufgereiht und schaffen eine ruhige und antike Landschaft, die an die Vergangenheit Seouls erinnert.
Der Gwangjang-Markt war der erste permanente Markt in Korea und ist auch heute noch ein beliebtes Touristenziel. Der Name Gwangjang bedeutet „aus der Ferne sammeln und zusammenhalten“.

Highly recommend this tour. We had so much fun on this activity. Sheen was very knowledgeable and shared interesting background on the sites we visited. The food tour was a nice break in the middle, go hungry it’s a lot! We loved visiting the temple at night to see it all lit up.

Driver picked us up on time and we were able to cater the tour to what we wanted to see. The sites were beautiful
Had a great half day private tour with Chris C. Great communication and direct pick up at the hotel and transportation between the sites was a nice plus. He was very knowledgeable about history and introduced us to a great place for lunch at Gwanjang market.
Eliott was an exceptional tour guide. His enthusiasm about the history of Korea helped us to enjoy our day immensely. He was prompt, organized, professional and incredibly friendly. My daughter and I made a new friend. His extraordinary depth of knowledge about Korean history made us hunger to go home and learn more. Throughout the day, he constantly checked in to insure our needs were met. Wherever we went, he took the initiative to make sure our time was well spent. We had a wonderful day out with Sheen a lovely young man who picked us up from our hotel. Communication was easy and we planned our day together. For various reasons several of the usual landmarks were closed on this day but we were happy to go off the usual tourist route and follow his recommendations. We did not want to do towers and temples and he understood this perfectly. We really appreciated Sheen’s commitment to ensuring we had the best experiences while learning some of the complex history of Korea. I would highly recommend him for a day trip.
Booking a private tour gave us the flexibility to change the itinerary based on weather conditions and to different sites we wished to visit and experience! Our guide, Elliott, was an awesome guide, very informative, and patient with us as we tried many different new experiences we had requested (such as renting a hanbok to visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, and eating Yukhoe and TangTang-i at Gwangjang Market)! He was our “sherpa,” carrying our bags so that we could take photos, our personal “tour guide,” guiding us through crowds, taking us to popular spots in the market, and driving us to see extra sites from the car beyond what we had expected! And he was also our “historian,,“ as our guide had a great depth of knowledge in the history of Korea. Our recommendation would be to bring a quality umbrella and wear clothing suited for rainy days, including water resistant footwear. However, our guide was very attentive to making sure we were comfortable and helped us with our failing umbrellas we had brought from the hotel.
We had an excellent experience from our 1/2 day private tour with our English speaking guide, Sheen Kim. He was prompt friendly and knowledgeable from the sites we visited.
