Prejean, ein Familienname Französischen Ursprungs, ist der Name der Gründerfamilie. Prejean Winery wurde von James und Elizabeth (Jim & Libby) Prejean gegründet. Jim Prejean wurde in Carencro, Louisiana geboren, das zum Französisch sprechenden Gebiet Louisianas gehört. Prejean ist ein Französischer Cajun-Name, der im Südwesten Louisianas am häufigsten vorkommt, aber anderswo in den Vereinigten Staaten ungewöhnlicher ist. Prejean Winery verfügt derzeit über ca. 30 Hektar aktive Weinberge, in denen wir dreizehn Rebsorten anbauen. Zu den Viniferen gehören Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc und Merlot. Zu den Hybridsorten gehören Traminette, Vignoles, Cayuga, Valvin Muscat, Marechal Foch, Noiret und Corot Noir. Alle Prejean Weine werden auf Gut angebaut und produziert.
Ventosa : Sie werden eine Vielzahl von Geschmacksrichtungen in Ventosas Weinen probieren, während Sie den Blick auf die Weinberge und den Seneca-See bestaunen. Die Weinprobe in Ventosa Vineyards ist unübertroffen. Genießen Sie ein Glas Wein mit Blick auf das 23 Hektar große Anwesen am nordöstlichen Ufer des Seneca-Sees. Ein köstliches Mittagessen erhalten Sie im Cafe Toscana von Ventosa auf der Small & Mighty plus Lunch Tour. Das Mittagessen ist ein festes Angebot an Speisen aus der Speisekarte des Café Toscana, darunter Wraps, Pizzen, Salat und ein Panino. Am Sonntag ersetzen wir das Cafe im Fox Run Winery durch das Cafe Toscano.
Cane & VIne Weinkeller Mike und Jayne Gibbs, ein Ehepaar, eröffneten Can & Vine Wine Cellars 2025 und erweiterten ihr Portfolio neben Toast Winery am Südende des Seneca Lake. Ein Wein, von dem Mike besonders begeistert ist, ist sein knochentrockener Cayuga White. Während diese Sorte oft in einem süßeren Stil produziert wird, war der Jahrgang 2023 bei der knochentrockenen Herstellung so außergewöhnlich, dass er sich dafür entschied, sie abzufüllen. Er liebt es auch, pétillante natürliche (pét-nat) Weine herzustellen. Can & Vine wird einen Dry Sparkling Rosé von Marquette im pét-nat Stil anbieten.
Kommen Sie zu diesem charmanten, bahnbrechenden Anwesen auf 100 Hektar am nordwestlichen Ufer des Seneca-Sees. Schmecken Sie durch das handgefertigte Portfolio von Anne & John Martini. Mit der Hilfe von Freunden und Familie pflanzten sie 1973 die ersten Trauben, alles Hybridsorten. Es wird eine Reihe von Weinen produziert – von trocken bis zum Dessert – mit einer Reihe von Geschmacksrichtungen, die Kenner und Gelegenheitsliebhaber gleichermaßen erfreuen sollen.

From the moment we were collected, by mini van at our holiday home, we knew we were in safe hands with Ron. Ron was knowledgeable and keen to teach us all about the Finger Lake area & all it has to offer. Ron is an absolute gentleman and I would highly recommend taking one of these winery tours. The 4 wineries we visited were all excellent with various flight tasting options, at each vineyard, we had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Excellent value for money.

We did the Castle Views and windy waters tour with 4 stops. Our guide Donna was great, particularly as another guide was scheduled for our tour but cancelled due to health issues minutes before pickup. Crush did their best to find another driver and Donna came to the rescue! Donna was knowledgeable and friendly. She kept us on schedule and also gave us space to enjoy the tasting experiences. Would have booked another tour if I had a longer stay. She had waters in the van for us-greatly appreciated.

Excellent experience and Ron is a terrific guide . We went at a relaxed pace and met the owners and staff of 4 local wineries , who explained their wines in nice detail , great group of people we went with as well . Had lunch , enjoyed the scenery , it was a perfect afternoon

My boyfriend and I joined six other guests on this tour and LOVED it. Christy was our wine navigator and she was great. Each vineyard had a unique tasting and a gorgeous view. We spent plenty of time at each winery, allowing time to taste, but glasses and relax. 10/10 would do this tour again on our next trip to Geneva.

Good selection of wineries. Appreciated having the water to rinse in between tastings at some of the vineyards. Nice that it was kept to a small group as we had time to have good conversations during the tour.

I tried to rectify this complaint with Viator, no luck. They didn’t want to help. This trip was overpriced and a terrible experience. We attended 4 - 15 minute testings. We had transportation but had to travel to meet the bus. We traveled approximately 5 miles, at best. We were finished in 3 hours. Just a horrible waste of good money. Nothing like they advertised. Don’t do this trip. Total rip off.
