Great way to spend a day! Lovely welcome from Samantha and Steve as soon as we arrived. The bikes are great, and the route was easy to follow (Old Partithia). Highly recommend this route, the views are breathtaking. Unfortunately I had an incident (completely my own fault) and I injured my toe, fortunately we were only 5 minutes from HQ. Steve was so kind when we got back, ran around finding me the first aid kit and supplied me with plenty of water. We sat and chatted to him for a good 45 minutes. Would highly recommend . Little tip….if you’re travelling from Kassiopi don’t use a taxi (€30 for a less than 15 minute journey) get the bus from the square, the bus stops less than a 5 minute walk to the Fat Bikes office.

If you’re looking for a memorable way to explore North Corfu, I can’t recommend Corfu Fat Bikes highly enough. We hired e-bikes in Acharavi and spent around five hours riding through some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever experienced on a holiday. The route took us along quiet roads, mountain tracks, olive groves, beaches, lakes and stunning viewpoints, climbing around 2,000 feet over roughly 20 miles. Along the way we discovered an old monastery, visited the abandoned village of Old Perithia, enjoyed a fantastic meal with incredible views, and finished with ice cream and drinks by a picture-perfect beach near Antinioti Lagoon. What impressed us most was how accessible the ride was. I have cycled quite a bit in the past but not for a couple of years, and my partner hadn’t ridden a bike for many years. The e-bikes made the hills surprisingly easy, were comfortable and reliable, and still had plenty of battery remaining at the end of the day. The tablet-based navigation and commentary worked very well, guiding us around the island while still allowing plenty of freedom to explore. It occasionally missed a point of interest or needed a quick check of direction, but overall it added enormously to the experience. A special mention must go to Steve, who was brilliant from start to finish. He made sure we were set up properly, provided water for the journey and clearly cares about his customers having a great day. This was genuinely one of the best holiday activities we’ve ever done—adventurous, scenic, rewarding and enormous fun. We finished the day feeling refreshed, accomplished and already talking about doing it again. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a great way to explore Corfu, we have been coming here for over 20 years and have seen views, that we have never seen from a car. The bikes are great, so easy to use and powerful too, so good for all abilities. Would highly recommend giving them a try, the staff are friendly and helpful too

A great day out, suitable for any fitness level as the bike does most of the work. There are some nice views and interesting places. If you want a break from sitting on the beach and want to see more of the island this is the way to do it.

We popped in to see Steve a couple of days into out stay in Acharavi. He was super helpful gave us a go on the bikes and explained how everything worked. We went ahead and booked for a few days later. We chose the Old Perithia route which was a super day out. The navigation system is easy to use, and the bikes made the hill achievable even for inexperienced riders. Old Perithia has a handful traditional taverns, go hungry, as we regret we where not ready to eat whilst there! The views at the top are amazing. The ride back down is exhilarating, and took us to the beach where we stopped for lunch. We then went off piste and headed up to Roda for a drink at the Boathouse, before returning the bikes to Steve. A brilliant day and the set up Steve has is second to non. Highly recommend

We booked onto corfu fat bikes excited with it being a unique self driven excursion which isn't found anywhere else. The routes were very well thought out by the team giving you the full experience of all the north of corfu has to offer with a final destination where you can grab a bite to eat. The ride was well worth the money for a good day out, the map was easy to follow and with our route, you had the option of stopping off at a beach on the way back for a dip to cool off. We'd never used E-bikes before but you get used to them fairly quickly with a mess about at the start under Steves supervision before being set off on your way. Ill definitely do this again when we return in the near future! We were also staying in the neighbouring town in Roda which the team were happy to pick up and drop off to save the hassle of getting a bus or renting a vehicle which was an added bonus

Samantha and Steve were both great and we highly recommend Fat Tire Bikes. Quick and friendly replies to our queries. Smooth and easy to arrange. Brilliant concept and one of our favourite days on holiday. We decided to do the Old Perithia tour. The GPS route which is attached to one of the bikes directs you the whole way - and tells you if you take a wrong turn!! Having the pannier and being given a bottle of cold water was a godsend. The bikes themselves are so comfortable and the power meant we could tackle big hill climbs with no problems - but also do a bit of off-road trail/track riding too. People we saw along the way asked about the bikes and we were very happy to recommend. Would definitely do again - and just wish the holiday had been longer to hire again.

We dropped by the shop and chatted with Steve. He gave us a go of the bikes and all seemed simple enough, so we made a booking for 2 days later. During that time, we studied the routes and reviews and decided to do the Old Perithia route. Collected the bikes, given helmets, panniers, a lock and water. The route starts on the main road, but you aren't on it for long. Then, you're on to the quieter roads and dirt roads, which is where the fun really starts. Nice and peaceful. Lovely scenery. It's a long climb up to Old Perithia (close to 5 miles, with around 1,500 foot of elevation gain. It's mostly on a pretty quiet road. There are a few steep bits, but nothing the bike can't handle - just remember to use the gears! At Old Perithia, it's easy top spend an hour or two wandering around the abandoned village. There are a few places to get food and souvenirs. It's a nice road descent back down to sea level (the same road you rode up). There's a lovely beach at Agios Spiridon, with a few restaurants. There are another couple of quiet beaches after that. We were out for over 5 hours, with about 3 hours of actual riding. A fantastic way to see the island. We have our own e-bikes back in UK. But, the Rad Power bikes do work somewhat differently: you have to pedal, but there is a throttle to boost power. It felt a bit odd to start with, but soon adapted. If you can ride an ordinary bike, you can ride the supplied bikes.

We have done two of the five cycling routes (Old Perithia and Kassiopi) Very well received and everything explained well in advance. Nice course and route easy to follow with the tablet.
