Todd gave an incredible overview of the cultural and historical relationship of coffee to Seattle and took us to several unique coffee spots that highlighted the special relationship between coffee and the city. Highly recommend to any coffee lover
This tour totally exceeded my expectations! We’re local to Seattle and enjoyed Tod’s tour so much- we have some new coffee spots to hang out at and got a really cool tour of Cap Hill. Tod was super knowledgeable and I learned a lot about coffee- we liked it so much we went to the Market after and I bought the same coffee book he had. Would recommend highly for visitors and locals!
Tod was a great guide! Very knowledgeable. Visited some great coffee shops. Enjoyed learning about the stores!
Tour was pretty insightful. Our tour guide Lisa had good energy and handled the group well. The selections were well thought out. We really enjoyed.
Great tour with Lisa! Very informative and unique.
Todd was super knowledgeable and very energetic! Very fun.
Tod was so incredibly informative! This was such a great tour that supports local businesses, allows tourists to see a not-so-touristy area of Seattle, and learn an incredible amount of information about coffee and the culture around it. I HIGHLY recommend!
Great experience. Tod was very knowledgeable and friendly! I had my first cupping experience with him and it was excellent!
We booked this tour based on the assumption we would learn more about coffee and how Seattle had proliferated coffee culture. That part of the tour was great. We sampled some notable coffees that have increased our coffee knowledge. What we didn't expect was that half of the experience would be dedicated to discussing counter culture activities of the area: the best places to see drag shows, which were the best gay bars, lectures on how peaceful was the 2020 autonomous zone, etc. I get it. It's Seattle. Those things will get mentioned. But literally, it was half the morning and had nothing to do with coffee. Here's my suggestion. When your guide starts the tour with "let's keep our political opinions to ourselves", kindly reply, "Great!, let's keep the tour about coffee."
We loved this tour! Very informative and our guide Tod had the best storytelling full of historical and local events. I learned a lot about coffee and I felt this was money well spent and definitely worth it to know the neighborhood and local businesses.
