Had to best time!! My husband and I are on our honeymoon and booked this a couple days ago and this really exceeded my expectations! Eriko and Alex were both so kind and helpful and really made the experience so fun! We met Eriko by Zeerover and then followed him to the water where we would kayak over! Alex led us over to the island and gave us a little tour showing us all the good spots and even gave us some cool sea glass he was finding! We appreciated the water/Powerade as it was very sunny and pretty hot!! Kayaking over was so fun and searching for cool sea glass was addicting. Can’t wait to book this again when we’re back in Aruba!

There is NO hotel pickup. $140.00 cab ride from the Marriott hotels. Most of the sea glass is recognizable broken bottles. Our guide was Fantastic.
Hi Arlene, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very happy to hear that you thought your guide was fantastic. We would, however, like to clarify a couple of points for future guests reading this review. Transportation is not included with our Sea Glass Island Tour, as stated in the tour information. Guests arrange their own transportation to our meeting point at Zeerover in Savaneta. We were concerned to read that you paid $140 for your taxi ride, so we verified what happened with your taxi driver. Aruba has government-regulated taxi fares, and the official fare from the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino to Zeerover is $49 one way. Your driver explained that your journey included additional stops to look for water shoes before arriving at the meeting point. Those additional stops and resulting charges are unfortunately outside of our control. We would also like to clarify the comment about broken bottles. Much of authentic sea glass actually originates from everyday glass items such as beverage, medicine, cosmetic and household bottles and jars. After years in the ocean, these pieces are naturally tumbled and weathered by the water, sand and rocks, creating the smooth, frosted glass people know and collect as sea glass. Different colors and origins vary greatly in rarity, which is part of what makes searching for sea glass so interesting. We’re sorry that the overall experience did not meet your expectations, but we truly appreciate your kind words about your guide and are glad that you enjoyed your time with him. Alex and Ericho were both incredibly kind and focused on making sure we had a great experience. This was one of the coolest things we’ve done in a while - the entire island is made of sea glass (instead of sand). The kayak to the island was super easy and quick, and the time on the island was perfect for filling up our bags with sea glass. We didn’t find any of the rarer colors, but given how hard it usually is to find sea glass, I was perfectly content with the handfuls of beautiful sea glass we did find. Definitely recommend this as part of your Aruba vacation! The only surprise was we didn’t realize we needed our own transportation to the location where we launched the kayaks. We had rented a car just for a day, and met Ericho as Zeerovers to start (as indicated in our instructions when we signed up) - but ended up taking the other couple who had also signed up to the launch area for the kayaks. Not sure how we would have gotten to the launch area if we had taxi’d to the meet location. Date of experience: April 2026
We had a wonderful time. Alex was a great guide. Explained the history of the island and where the best places were to look for glass. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Had a wonderful time!! I was kinda leary about getting in the kayak but there was someone with us to make sure everything went ok. Once on the island I nestled down into the mangrove (shade) and just started digging. My husband stayed and dug in the water line. They had cold drinks for us, hand rake and baggies for our treasures. I was even gifted a purple and red piece of glass by one of the guides, so nice. I’d definitely take this trip again..no second thoughts ❤️

Ahhhhhh!!!! So great! Pickup was a breeze, kayaking was short but delightful. Loved that it was a small, friendly group. Eriko and Alex were freaking fantastic - so friendly and professional. They taught us SO much and even offered a few little finds of their own. Highly recommend! Thanks, guys! ♥️

12 out of 10 ! You should experience going and doing this at least once when in Aruba. Kayaking to the island was an easy ride and we felt extremely safe and secure the entire time. Guides provide everything you need and are extremely helpful and friendly. This was a nice change up from the typical activities to do in Aruba. Ericko is a gem and my family and I will cherish the time we spent. The bonus … we are bringing treasure home with us! Ericko was extremely kind to also gift us a beautiful piece to take home. Thank you Ericko, we will 100% be back to do this again. I highly , HIGHLY recommend booking with Ericko. You will not be disappointed !

Amazing experience to Sea Glass Island! Our guides were very knowledgeable about sea glass and what we could find if we spent some time exploring. Alex was an awesome guide. Made us very comfortable and surprised us with sea glass that he would find. He gave my daughter a purple piece that she loved. Powerades and water were provided which was great as it was hot. They provided everything from bags and rakes to kayaks and life jackets. It was a short kayak trip over there. Overall worth your time as we came away with 2 full bags of interesting sea glass.

This was a fabulous adventure. I felt like an explorer on a private island with a treasure chest full of spectacular sea glass! Our guides were friendly and a little bit funny🤣. I'd do it again next year!

Beautiful island. Not very commercial. Great seafood, wait staff was excellent every place we went. The area was clean and friendly. We did not find it to be any more expensive than home. We felt very safe.
