Lavaux ist in verschiedenen Ländern als terrassenförmig angelegtes Weinbaugebiet im Kanton Waadt in der Westschweiz bekannt. Die Waadtländer Region produziert die viertel Menge des gesamten Schweizer Weins, was die Kultur dieser Region und einen wesentlichen Teil des Alltags symbolisiert. Lavaux erstreckt sich über Lausanne nach Montreux und erreicht eine Höhe von 500 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel, an dem mehrere kleine Dörfer und die Stadt Vevey beteiligt sind. This is one of the best tours out to the wineries and our driver Eric was over the top incredible. His knowledge, humor and personality left us wanting to book him for every private tour. Book the private tour is worth the money and created a flexibility in scheduling. Highly recommend booking this tour and hell while you’re at it request Eric if possible. Spend the money and create lasting memories. We lived in Geneva 50 years ago and this tour brought us back to so many fond memories.

Driving through the area was wonderful. The vineyards overlooking Lake Geneva is breathtaking and something you will never forget. It would be very difficult to traverse without a guide if you’re unfamiliar with the area. Plus, if you’re wine tasting, having a driver is awesome!
