Als Kulturträger für die Stadt New Orleans sind alle unsere Guides aktiv an verschiedenen Produktionen und Veranstaltungsorten beteiligt und/oder treten dort auf, wo unsere künstlerische Erhaltung des Louisiana BBIPOC Kulturerbes gezeigt wird. Wir haben eine einzigartige Perspektive, die tiefer geht als das, was in Büchern zu finden ist (obwohl wir auch gründliche Forscher sind), und wir freuen uns darauf, die reichen und vermischten Kulturen zu teilen, die New Orleans ausmachen.

It can be really hot so bring cooling tools - ice water, umbrella, fan, cooling wrap, etc. It was very educational!
This was my first time taking a historical tour in New Orleans, and one thing I wanted was a guide who was from the community that she was representing, and a locally owned a small business, someone who respects the people and the culture and is willing to tell the truth, even if it makes people uncomfortable. Dartanya was all of those things, not only that, it was evident that she was deeply passionate about the storytelling, and connected to the people, places, and events. Highly recommend and plan to tour with her again.

Just got back from New Orleans. What an incredible story of Treme, New Orleans and the history of New Orleans back to the 1700's. LaToya was our guide. She is a great story teller. Do yourself a favor and take the tour. We also stopped in at the Backstreet Cultural Museum to see amazing Mardi Gras costumes and got food at Lil Dizzy's. All Good!!!

LaToya is an amazing story teller and keeper of Treme history. Love and exuberance for the neighborhood shows through. What a great way to round out the history of New Orleans. Do yourself a favor, visit an amazing neighborhood that IS New Orleans. Eat at Li’l Dizzy’s Cafe and visit Backstreet Cultural Museum for Mardi Gras history and costumes on display. All amazing, all worth the time.
