Schritt für Schritt von Angra zum Heroísmo

Beschreibung

Ricardo is an amazing guide with a comprehensive knowledge of Angra and it’s dramatic history, which played an important part in Portugal’s history.
I had the opportunity to do this tour with Ricardo, and the experience exceeded expectations. What stands out most is the way it combines a deep knowledge of the region with a genuine reception, which makes us feel at ease. During the tour, his dedication and passion for what he does became evident. The attention to the details, from the choice of locations to the personalized way the experience leads, makes everything very authentic. I highly recommend anyone looking for not only a walk, but a true immersion in the history and beauty of this place.
Our guide Ricardo is extremely knowledgable and passionate about the history of Terceira and its historical landmarks. He really brought the past to life and gave us a great appreciation for Terceira and its people. He entertained us with many interesting and fun facts that made it even more enjoyable. We felt very comfortable with Ricardo and enjoyed every minute of our time. Our only regret is we didn’t take his tour to the caves since he is a geologist it would have been amazing too! Thank you Ricardo you were the highlight of our trip.
Thank you for your kind words!
Ricardo is very kind and knowledgeable. We started at a viewpoint at the top of the city where he gave us a very good overview of Angra ( literally). And progressed down into town pointing out many important/ interesting buildings while narrating the historical and cultural context. I would like to take a longer tour off the island someday.
Ricardo was a very knowledgeable guide. He shared a relaxed vibe, and he didn't rush us . There was plenty of time to ask questions. It was a historical tour and we enjoyed very much the anecdotes about this city and its colorful citizens. This tour gave us a richer experience of the Azores.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
We had a wonderful morning walking around the city with Ricardo! He obviously loves the Azores and his city! He was very knowledgeable and tied information together making it easy to understand. It was a relaxing learning experience. He also provided us recommendations for places to eat and go! We had a great time and you will too!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
One of the best tours we’ve ever had. Ricardo is very knowledgeable and passionate about history of Terceira. This tour took around three hours and we learned so much! Ricardo is very accommodating about our walking speed, we even had a short break at local cafe to relax. We highly recommend this tour when you’re in Terceira, you’ll see and learn a lot!
Thank you so much! It was a lovely morning with you all!
We had a great experience on our tour. It is a lovely city, and we enjoyed learning the history of Terceira and the Azores. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it was a lovely morning indeed.
Ricardo was a great guide! Shared lots of great history and stories of the island. Could answer all our questions. Was a great way to spend a morning and explore Angra.
It was a great morning indeed, thank you Elizabeth.
Ricardo was a friendly and charming tour guide who led our small group around Angra. He told the stories of the city’s past in a way that was engaging. And fun fact! (A favorite saying of his) - he’s a geologist and knows a lot about the volcanic origins and tectonic shifts that have shaped this island city. We highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone to give you a snapshot of the important role Terciera and Angra have had on world history.
